This is my first time buying something like this. Setting it up was easy and the Nylon strap along with the part that goes in behind the door to lock in place is very sturdy. The only problem I have is that the Nylon strap is far too thin, not in thickness, but the overall width of the strap. Its to narrow and therefore making it very uncomfortable to grip it. It actually starts to hurt your hands. I had to buy a pair of workout gloves to be able to grip the strap strong enough to hold my leg in place in order to stretch. I am happy with HOW it works, but if I buy another one, it will be one with a much wider strap, and I do see them being sold at other shops on Amazon. I would strongly recommend buying one with a wider strap for comfort and making it easier to use.

We ordered this strap to help our 10 y/o daughter with her stretch routines, which she does not usually enjoy :( She's new to Gymnastics and is struggling with how inflexible she is compared to the other students. However, she's a green sash in Kung Fu, having been a student for 5+ years, and thought she was flexible enough until she started gymnastics. She became upset and wanted to quit it all until I showed her this product on Amazon. She instantly smiled and jumped for joy that such a thing existed and insisted we order it right away! 2 days later it came, and we are so pleased with the ease of installation (she can do it herself) and the portability. She's used it a few times and can already tell a difference in her Kung Fu kicks. She's now looking forward to continuing Gymnastics, and if a product can bring a child from calling it quits to looking forward to class again, it gets 5 stars in our book!!!

I purchased this for my daughter because she needed assistance with her stretching. It is her first year in competitive cheer and wants to be a flyer. This item will help her get there. It is made of good quality materials and is simple to use. The only thing I have to help her with is the initial setup on the door because she is to short to reach the top. I would suggest that you place it closer to the hinge side of the door so most of the pull is on the hinges. I have suggested this product to other parents at her gym and they also agreed it was a great investment. Parents no longer have to help with the stretching because the individual can do it themselves.

I just got this and tried it out. I don't do cheerleading; I do taekwondo. Flexibility is extremely important for the sport yet hard to achieve as you get older (and after you've had two kids). This was so easy to set up and takes up such little space. I was able to use it to achieve a greater stretch for my kicks (drop kick, side kick, back kick) and to increase overall flexibility in stretches. I've been using an exercises, body weight/resistance, or partner assistance to stretch. This was fabulous and got my farther into the stretches! It would be easy to travel with to tournaments too.

Purchased for my daughter who is an all star cheerleader. After trying several of the elastic kind we decided try this door stunt strap. She uses it daily and has helped with stunting and flexibility! She even takes it to comps and attaches it to doors in hotel rooms. A must have for any cheerleader or gymnast!

This product was recommended to me by a friend. My 9 year old daughter needed to work on her flexibility for her dance competition team. She was doing various stretches every night, watching video's on how to improve her flexibility, etc. This product BY FAR helped her more than anything else we tried. Within a week we noticed a difference - she was able to get closer to the floor for her splits and her leg lifts improved tremendously. For her to be able to see that kind of progress so quickly only motivated her more to continue using this. This isn't one of those products that will be "fun in the beginning" and then wear off after a little while. Again, you SEE the improvement fairly quickly so that motivates you to continue to use it. We have it hanging on a door in our living room so our daughter will use it while watching TV. It's extremely easy to set up and remove - leaves no damage or marks on your door at all. The great thing about this is you really can't do it wrong...as I told my daughter, pull the belt to lift your leg as high as you can (you should feel the pull...but it should not be painful). In addition to all this, it helps so much with overall balance. She is SO proud of the progress she's made and I couldn't be happier with this product!

Product arrived quickly and exactly as described. Only took a couple of minutes to unpack, read setup instructions and get stretching. Definitely helps stretch - but even better - stretch WHILE balancing as well. Getting flexibility on the floor is good, but being able to stand while you push the flexibility is so much better. Now I can work on balance and flexibility at the same time. I use this to assist with stretching and figuring skating positions, it would work well for any type of dance. Of course, how well this works depends on you. You have to push your limits, figure out the different directions and standing positions it will support you in. I found that I was able to stretch new muscles as I worked with the device and shifted angles etc. I find that this device is also helpful for adjusting body placement for balance and full range of movement. I would definitely recommend to a friend.

I recently purchased this stretching strap for my 4-year-old, who does all star cheer. We have been working on stretching with it over the past couple of months, and it has already made noticeable improvements in my daughter's abilities! Her splits are getting better, she's getting closer to being able to pull a correct heel stretch, and we are even starting to stretch her for her scorp with it! This strap fits on any door, there's no installation required, and can easily be transported. I highly suggest this product for any cheerleader, dancer, gymnast, tumbler, or any other sport where stretching for flexibility is required! Looking forward to purchasing more products from this company in the future, including a Stunt Stand for my little flyer! Thank you for making this amazing product.

Disappointed this arrived in a different colour than ordered, a cheaper 3 hole travel strap instead of the 5 and it was missing the cards and hair tie. Returned.
