Fabulous lights! We plan on using them for outside dining. Love the heavy feel and compact low design. Great for entertaining and playing cards. Had an issue with order fulfillment, but customer support did an outstanding job of communicating the issue and working to resolve it.

This is my favorite lamp of all time!!! My only regret is that it does not remember the previous dimmed setting.

Pretty cool light and very satisfying to turn on and off. Seems well made. My only issue is that the brightness returns to max setting every time you turn the light off and back on. And the only way to re-adjust the brightness again is a button on the bottom of the light, which requires physically picking up the unit.

Love this lamp! I saw this at a fancy hotel, and was thrilled to be able to find it on Amazon. Had to end up buying more for family and friends who saw it at my place and wanted it as well. Offers a great light in a very subtle manner

Terrific design, great build. Second one of these Zafferano push up lights we purchased over the last couple years. I was surprised to see this light in Amazon. It is a very nice light. Buying this one through Amazon was much more affordable then the one we had purchased through a specialty lighting store.

This could easily be a five-star lamp choice. But a few issues I feel are important warrant a penalty of 1, and maybe even 2, stars. Pros: -Build quality - I can't speak to longevity as I've only had it for a short while, but the aluminum body is really nice. The push-up action is smooth and concise, and the lighting glow is well done. The dispersion of light is excellent. -Lighting effect - this wouldn't be my first choice for a reading light. The design casts light downwards, and it's a short, squat body, so you'd need to place the lamp at a high point to use it for that primary purpose. This is a mood light, a light for a room where you're watching TV, and it's out in front of you, so when it's on, there is no interference with your line of sight to the TV. A light where you're sitting, having a glass of wine outdoors or indoors at a table across from someone, and don't want the light to be in the way. You get the idea. -Light color choices are accurate; warm is indeed amber warm, soft white, and cool white are genuine as described. Cons: -You have to pick it up and turn it over to make color and dimming choices. That may not sound like much, but if you have a lamp where you tap on the top or body to make these changes, you realize how clunky it is. It's not super responsive either. It's slow to dim, and changing the color temperature is a study in patience, requiring a couple of steps. Elegant-looking, yes, but anything but elegant in functional design. -Once you dial in the temperature and level of brightness you want, don't turn it off anytime soon. If you do all that is lost, and you're back to square one with the next push-up. If dialing in temp and dimming were simple, it would be less of a pain, but they are not. Should have memory retention given the function design and price point. -Claims to have a replaceable battery, yet no instructions can be found anywhere on how to do that, not in the owner's manual, and not online when I ran several searches. Makes you question the claim and will require contacting the company. An unnecessary burden if you're going to list "replaceable battery" as a feature. -Price. It's an Italian design but made in PRC (China). Indeed, it is a very cool design, but with a made-in-China reality, I think it's a bit on the costly side at $150. Check the history, as it can sell for less. I settled on four stars because of the build and design quality. The lamp feels remarkably sturdy and well built with a modern, elegant look. However, the choices about how to interact with the lighting features are almost as if one team designed the body and another designed the functions. They are inconsistent with one another and a little bit annoying. If you won't be fiddling with the temps or dimming and, most of the time, you'll be popping it on and leaving it as is, you'll likely really enjoy this light.
