I bought this Buddha about ten years ago. This amber jade stone has gorgeous pale yellow, deep amber, and green highlight. Because the jade is so unusual in its yellow, green, and amber tones, it was difficult to find harmonizing beads. Nine years later, I found gorgeous elongated faceted jade beads that harmonized perfectly with the Buddha statue. I strung the necklace so the beads with the deepest amber tones are closest to the middle of the necklace, the color fading to harmonize with the yellow lights of the carving near the toggle clasp. This Buddha is larger than most meditating Buddhas, measuring 2.25 inches high by 1.5 inches wide, and over .5 inches deep. The deepest amber color is near the top of the carving merging into a paler gold in the front and green gold in the back of the carving. The bail is bronze colored wire with 2 mm dark red garnet spacer beads. The clasp of this 21.5 inch necklace is a gold plated toggle.
