After doing much researching of blue tooth cassette players I settled on this one. I am happy I did!! The speaker has a nice clear punchy sound. It was delivered with no damage to the box and it was packed very well in bubble wrap. I connected the cassette to my Sound core Motion Boom Plus IP67 Portable Speaker this was going to be a make it or break it deal keeper for me and I am happy to say the cassette connected flawlessly and played my cassette music very very well!! I didn't use my cassette right away after purchasing it and the Amazon return window had closed for me to return after the cassette lost its reception ability for FM and AM radio. I contacted the customer service department by email for a fix to my problem and with very quick same day response and email kindness they are sending me a replacement at no charge. The customer rep at the Jazzmm service team really stand behind their product!!! 4 stars would be for the cassette because I was hoping I could not connect by blue tooth to my car like I can with my phone but I assume right now that a cassette device like that right now doesn't exist. I was informed by their service team this cassette does not connect with a car. But hey that's ok. If this company ever sale one like that in the future I will definitely buy from this company. This cassette player works great! AM/FM reception is surprisingly good. Bluetooth is also works surprisingly well. Bluetooth pairs quickly and consistently. The outside speaker isn’t great. But if you look at the true 80s Walkman type cassette players they didn’t even come with external speakers. Cassette speed is spot on and if it’s not you can adjust with the azimuth opening (pin hole) on the back. I even tested the recording from the radio and it was also very good! Overall, I think this is a good bargain for the money. This little device really surprised me! Love this and I would highly recommend!

When I inserted batteries it immediately started playing. Unfortunately, the record and play buttons were stuck in the "on" position on arrival. I could not stop it from playing. The radio controls didn't seem to work either, though it may have been blocked by whatever was causing the recorder function to play. The housing is very light weight (probably very cheap) plastic-like material. I have bought many items on line, including media related, and this was among the worst 1% of experiences. Rarely do I give 1 star ratings because there is usually at least some redeeming quality. I did not find any with this product. I would give it no stars if the scale permitted. For me, it was a complete waste of money and time.

Pull out all your old cassettes and enjoy this recorder great sound and compact size

--- UPDATED REVIEW --- July 30, 2024I was refunded and they sent me a replacement. The newest cassette player I received works better than the first one... Tapes that didn't play in the first one, are playing now. We'll see how this one holds up over time (I'll set a reminder to come back in 60 days).Customer service was great!! While I was initially skeptical, they followed through with everything they offered. I truly appreciate this level of service and they were quick! The bluetooth worked flawlessly and only a few tapes from my collection seemed to have issues playing in this player... however, it only took one fall from my car seat to my car floor for it to quit playing all tapes correctly. Seriously less than a 1 foot fall, and now everything sounds like it plays in slow-mo. I'm mostly sad because it happened 1 day out of my return/exchange window. Sigh...

BUYERS BEWARE. This cassette player only played of an on for about 8 hours before it slowed down the cassette audio and made it sound terrible. It was not damaged, but it was like the tapes we put in it were playing slower. Do not purchase this item. It will not last and doesn’t hold the play speed properly.Update the company did offer a refund, but we had already thrown the item away fearing someone else would receive it. I changed my review to 3 stars for good customer service.

This is a great product that allowed me to listen to my old family tapes on my bluetooth speaker. What an amazing idea to combine the old with the new. I love it.

What sold me was this cassette player had bluetooth output, which connects well to my speakers etc. However the unit is made from a very cheap plastic and no matter what means of playback you choose, be it headphones, bluetooth or the horid built in speaker there is always a humming that you can hear. And I'm not sure but aren't you suppose to keep magnets away from tapes? The little built in speaker's magnet is directly against your cassette tape !It does have usb c as a means to power the unit instead of 2 AA batteries if desired. The included headphones are ok ish. The radio was able to tune in my local stations. Bottom line I'm disappointed with the audio having a motor like humming at all times regardless of what you play. I miss the days of American made products or at least any good company that has quality control and uses quality componets. My search will continue for another good portable cassette player. Hope yours sounds better than what I was sold.Update : The seller reached out to me after reading my review and refunded me in full. I was pleasantly surprised.
