Wlife Roland Foods Balsamic Glaze, 27 Ounce

If you are looking for the perfect glaze with body, this is it! Have used a few different brands but keep coming back to Roland. Have purchased multiple times and keep it on my pantry shelf.

FANTASTIC STUFF. I'm 67 years young and this is my first experience with any kind of Balsamic product. Now I know this isn't a true aged Balsamic but to me it is one of the nicest things I have ever placed in my mouth. The primary reason I purchased this was for dietary reasons. I was told to cut back on my salt intake after a heart issue. Anyone on a low sodium diet knows there is very little on the market that doesn't have huge amounts of extra salt added. Yes Yes I know salt adds flavor to everything. Salt however was used to preserve food not to change the taste. After research I found that things like fresh vegetables were going to have to be on my diet. I like veggies, I really do but with lots of butter and of course salt. I have been told that salt can't be used, just not as much as I had been taking in daily. Someone told me that roasted vegetables were better for me and tasted great. Okay so I roasted some potatoes, carrots, onions in some Extra Virgin Olive Oil. The flavor was pretty good but bland. I wanter my salted butter back. I began researching recipes for sauces to put over those roasted veggies to make them just a bit more flavorful and that's when I found it. Balsamic vinegar based sauces. Mix with olive oil, a little garlic , some french mustard and this vinegar and voila a great sauce to cover those veggies. Now I'm going to experiment further. I'm sure I can find other uses for this stuff. Roland has a web sight that has a slew of recipes. Excellent purchase. Only problem is I should had tried this vinegar earlier in my life. I purchased this product from Amazon without a discounted, free or any payment for the review. I only hope this helps others out in Amazon World

I have purchased several versions of balsamic glaze over the years. This one is definitely the best. It’s potent, not too thick in consistency, it tastes delicious and not too tangy, the bottle did not leak, the bottle is large and is a good value for the price, and the texture is a little bit more watery than I am used to but a little bit of the product goes a long way. I didn’t need as much as I thought I did on my food - this stuff is strong! I will be a long term buyer.

Outstanding on sandwiches. Drizzle it on veggie pizzas. Works as a final touch on a salad. For bruschetta with garlic, basil and Roma tomatoes it is solid. Finishes roasted veggies perfectly. Best part is that a little less is more with this glaze and the 27 ounce size will go a long way. The real drawback is the sugar content. That;s why it loses a star. If they could make this with half the sugar it would be perfect.
