This Camera is AMAZING and yes, It Is HUGE
First of all, when you open the box you will laugh out loud. This camera is HUGE. I have I felt like a character on Mom I Shrunk the Kids, holding it. Now, down to business. It is both a camera and a printer. My first task was to print a picture from my iPhone and the quality of the printed image is astounding. It is 4inch X 4inch - unlike the cute little zink printers. The 4-pass technology is amazing and a joy to watch as it adds one layer over another to create the final laminated print. It is worth the price for just the printer, but it is also a camera, and a HUGE one at that. It is truly unique but the finished product - the photographs, are amazing, and very inexpensive compared to other brands. Pics are about 33cents each with this camera, while 50cents to well over a dollar per print by competitors. Be aware that Kodak also has smaller versions with smaller prints - see the 3 and 2. Consider the image below. It shows the camera with my iPhone beside it and the first photo I printed. I actually love it. Added note. This is a complex printing system and can fail, as can any machine. For added piece of mind, I added the protection plan, which I rarely do, but with this camera it provides extra peace of mind knowing problem or not, I will still have this beautiful camera.

Horrible printing
Camera is great for taking pics but the printing is horrible. It was a disaster during a very important event. We got the 1st 7 pics to work and then after it kept saying need more paper or ink. When we changed the ink and added more paper...then the print stuff came out in ribbons and never w worked to fully print a picture again. All 3 of the new cartridges did that!!! Don't waste your money or time or an important life event!!! Only chose the 1 star because we had to choose one

Takes great photos but Kodak could have done much better
I really wanted to love this camera...but Kodak's product team really missed the mark on a bunch of things for the price point of this $230 unit.First the Cons:Con 1: You cannot save any photos - this is NOT a digital camera! Beware! You take a picture then either print it *or* take a new picture to replace it. This is not adequately explained in the product description. For $230, not being able to save the photos is nutty. There is also no way to add a memory card. This is truly an instant camera.Con 2: It is BIG and BULKY. You are not just tossing this thing in a purse or small bag.Con 3: The trap door to change the ribbon is flimsy - the hinge broke on the second day of use when trying to change the ribbon. (See photo)Con 4: There is no form of zoom (optical or digital), but the camera does a good job of getting a wide scene. (Wider than Polaroid or Instax)Con 5: There is no lens cap / no way to protect the lens. Granted, it's recessed a bit but that doesn't help when you have it in a bag with other items. (Kodak does sell a case)C'mon Kodak, do better! Now the Pros:Pro 1: Overall, it takes excellent photos for the type of technology used and for "what it is" (an entry level instant cam with a 4 pass ribbon). Far better quality output than Polaroid and Instax with less cost per spoiled print.Pro 2: The battery lasts longer than expected (about 20-25 photos on a single charge).Pro 3: You can charge it with USB charger or the included power adapter. This is very convenient.Pro 4: You can choose border or borderless (as well as some other artistic filters) but after you turn the camera off the settings revert to default.Pro 5: Unlike Polaroid and Instax, the automatic adjustments for different lighting conditions are impressive. (All photos taken outside in various conditions, and all photos.I didn't find the speed of making a photo a big problem (it's inconvenient, yes), but understand that once you press print it takes a good minute+ for it to complete the printing cycle... and once printing starts you cannot do anything else. I took about 50 photos. I had a total of two jams, likely due to too much paper in the hopper.Overall I give this 3 stars because for the price (again, $230) they could have filled the gaps listed above. It lost an entire star because of no ability to save images. If you're just looking to savor some moments in time, this camera can be a good option for you. I did not yet try the whole "connect your phone" option to use this as a printer.

Amazing Camera and Printer Combo!
I absolutely love the KODAK Mini Shot 4 ERA! The photo quality is incredible for a compact instant camera, and the 4PASS printing makes each picture vibrant and smudge-free. It’s super easy to use, and being able to print directly from my smartphone is a game-changer. I also appreciated that it came with 70 sheets—it’s a great value. The design is stylish, and it’s been a hit at family gatherings and events. Highly recommend for anyone looking to capture memories instantly with professional-looking prints!

Use phone to print more accurate pictures
The film turns out pretty good. Definitely suggest using your phone for a more accurate picture. But there is some beauty in the retro vibe from just snapping from the camera itself
