Seiko clock (Model: QXA612KLH)

I was looking for a clock to hang up on my bedroom wall that satisfied two important practical criteria: (1) The time had to be legible from a short distance across the bedroom when I was in bed without wearing my glasses or contacts (I only have a -1.5 prescription) and (2) it couldn't make the loud clicking sound that's typical of standard battery-operated wall clocks since I didn't want my sleep disturbed. Well, after some searching, this clock caught my eye. I loved the look of this wall clock (the yellow accent on the secondhand is a really nice touch) and Seiko is a very well respected brand in the timepiece market. I was a little reluctant to get this however due to the higher price than the cheaper wall clocks that are available on the site. After having owned this clock for a few months now though, I can say that I'm extremely satisfied. It looks stunning, not cheaply made like a lot of the lower-end wall clocks, keeps accurate time (pretty important for a clock after all), and is completely silent so not even the slightest disturbance of my precious sleep! I highly recommend this if you're looking for a completely silent clock that'll look great on any wall in your home.

It's accurate, doesn't make clicking sound and looks very stylish. Love it totally!

The media could not be loaded.  The video I’m posting doesn’t show how good this clock looks. Too many reflections from me filming right in front of it.Accuracy is good. Maybe a second or two +/- of error per month at most. You can hack the seconds hand by removing the battery and then adjust the hour and minute hands. Doing it this way is not perfectly precise but you can get it very close to perfect.Most importantly, it is completely silent and has that smooth sweeping seconds hand. The orange color really pops.I am very happy with it.

This is a totally silent and quite attractive, so if you want it for a showpiece, it will serve its purpose. If you want to rely on it for accurate time, don't buy it. You will notice it is off within a couple of weeks. I have to reset the time every month. I'm over 60 and I've never seen a watch or clock of any kind that was off by this much.

So far all good. The clock is handsome. It’s extremely quiet, the colors are nice, the face is nice and semi reflective - the perfect amount, not too much at all - which breaks up the clock and makes it less plain. I really like this clock - I had a Seiko for 8-years that was an R-Wave (atomic time) series clock. It died and they don’t make a black face version of it these days...bummed out, but this one is still really nice and keeps perfect time. Don’t hesitate to buy it.

Clock is beautiful but won't keep correct time. Gains one minute every two days. No adjustments available on clock to correct.

Beautiful clock! A little pricey (at least when I bought it), but worth it! It looks great and seems to be pretty accurate, and it is completely silent! It is hanging near my bed and I can't hear a thing. I will add that since the hands are so thin, it is a little difficult to read in low light, but that's not what I bought it for. Overall, great clock!

Great looking clock, as advertised,Love the smooth motion second hand and silent operation. Just wish they made a few larger ones for larger rooms.

Very good cloct though costly one

This is a good looking clock. Continuous sweep second hand is impressive and completely silent. Made by Seiko, I’m sure it will keep very accurate time. Can’t fault it!

Handsome clock for price point, haven’t had long enough for test of time review, but so far so good! Kept time for 2 weeks
