Didn't work for me

So I got this to display my jewelry at a craft show but it also works as a home jewelry case for those who do not design jewelry.

I really thought this was going to be a little bigger. If the pendant is larger it has a hard time fitting in the little slot. I do like that each one is on display so it's easy to find what you are looking for. I do wish it had holes for earrings too. This does keep the chains from tangling with each other.

This is a 7.87" x 5.9" jewelry box which has a plush velvet exterior and a fiberboard interior. This is the 12 Grid Blue variant.This isn't very roomy, and it is intended to help organize a smaller jewelry collection.The build feels fairly inexpensive and I would call sturdiness into question.It is useful for organizing brooches or the like, and I do like the clear window panel for easily seeing what's inside.Overall, I think this is too small for typical usage and I would not recommend it as a good value.

I've bought quite a few of the larger jewelry trays by XHMQYC because I like to see my rings and necklaces laid out vs. stuffed in a jewelry box. The display trays I have are perfect, except for one detail: when accidentally dropped or tilted too far, the jewelry gets jumbled up and some even falls out. So when I saw this enclosed pendant/necklace box, I saw the answer to my single problem and wanted to give it a try.The 12 ct pendant/necklace box is approx. one-third the size of the "regular" trays, however I find that I like this size considerably more as there's no extra wasteful space. I had no problem fitting the same 12 necklaces from the larger tray, with it's large display boards, onto the smaller display boards. Besides the space-saving nature, there are additional pros:- the velvety material is the same color and plushness as the larger open display trays and, therefore, when stacked or side-by-side, everything matches as a perceived set (see my pictures)- the entire inside and outside of this box, except for the acrylic window, is covered in the velvety material which gives it a cohesive look- the front latch on the box is easy to open and close, yet also snaps snugly into the closed position. I dropped the box with the latch engaged to see if it would pop open and it did not- the small size along with the cover and latch make this necklace display case considerably more portable than the open larger trays and, as such, makes it easy to take it on vacation or business tripsIn the end, I haven't found any cons to this pendant/necklace organizer/display box. Currently at $30, it's the perfect price for the quality and very affordable. I'll certainly be purchasing a couple more of these so I can move my necklace collection out of the large trays and into these. I would love it if this was made into a collection and was expanded to include a ring display box (of perhaps 40 ring slots in the foam) and an earring version too (preferably with the space-saving horizontally suspended dot board to maximize the number of post earrings that can be stored). This necklace display tray would obviously be a perfect gift for adults, but also would be perfect for teens or young ladies who are just starting their necklace collection, as it gives plenty of freedom to grow the collection.Note: This is my honest opinion and I hope it helps.
