MINIRIG 4 - Portable Bluetooth Wireless Speaker, Powerful Sound & Bass, Outdoor, Travel & Home use, 100 hours Battery, Fast USB C charging, Integrated Speakerphone & Powerbank (Black)

I bought one of these after noticing the BBC using one to play something to an interviewee in their home. It's hard to believe how Minirig get such full, round sound in such a small case, far better than any other mini-speaker I've heard. Tested on a wide range music types, I found it clear and responsive across the audio spectrum, maintaining quality even at high volume. The construction is heavy and solid, built to last. And the battery life is excellent, even when used at high volume, where it still maintains its high quality sound.Being cylindrical, it's tricky to place it so that the sound is directed sideways. I'd recommend buying one of the cheap after-market 3D-printed stands. Also, there is an associated phone app the function of which is to let you update the firmware to the latest version. I'd recommend using that as soon as you get it so it's fully up to date.

You aren't buying one of these because it can "go loud when you crank it up" (which it is definitely capable of doing!), though if you're reading reviews as part of your research, and you're considering getting one then you're already aware of the niche this speaker successfully corners in the market - audiophiles who seek the best quality representation of their music, rather than the cliche "V" shaped default EQ other brands market as the selling point. Namely it is the quality of the audio at medium to low levels that is most impressive, and where this speaker shines, the audio definition in this range is excellent - you can still perceive balanced bass at the lowest volume level. When you do crank it up to 60%+ volume there is as expected bass compression to protect the driver - it's a small speaker after all, can't cheat the laws of physics.Plenty of adjustability in the app, including options for modular configurations if you have multiple minirig devices you can daisy-chain together - if you happened to own 2 of these so you can enjoy stereo output, or have the sub woofer for the full 2.1 experience. At the time of writing I just have a single minirig 4 so I can't review the "whole package" aspect.Battery life is excellent, always in disbelief that there is so much charge left after a long session using it. The device tips the scales at just over 0.5kg, it does feel heavy but that's because it's built solid and is a quality item.

I love mini rigs, I have brought 2 x minirig 3 and now 2 x mini rig 4.I decided to treat my daughter to one for xmas. All have the the most amazing quality and sound. The clarity of the sound is out of this world and there is no other Bluetooth speaker with the same clarity of sound.I would recommend buying one if you haven't already.Cost is affordable and reasonable for such a powerfull speaker.unlike other bluetooth speakers Hold 100 hours of charge and doubles up as a mobile phone charger.also easy to link up via WiFi.Oh and the bass is loud u can feel it though the floor so great for party's raves and those get together in your local fields. Buy!! Buy!! Buy!! The colours are vibrant and the lanyards are great to help transport wherever you go.What are u waiting for press that buy button and add some quality sounds to your life.

I don't often review products that I buy from Amazon. But these speakers are so good I have to recommend them. They are absolutely in a class of their own for portable speakers. The sound is massively good and the app has an equaliser in it so I was able to set it to exactly my requirements.I was nervous of spending this much on them so I asked the Minirig company several questions. Their replies were prompt and helpful. Delivery was very fast. I can't compliment the product enough. Proper audio excellence in a tiny package. Simple to use. Thoroughly excellent in every way. Great company, great product.

Great apart from difficult to use control buttons

I recently bought a Minirig 4 speaker and had some issues with delivery due to DPD being late. However, MINIRIG’s customer service was excellent. Rachel was quick to respond and sorted everything out. The speaker itself is great—compact, with really good sound. The only downside is the phone app, which is a bit buggy and can cause audio skipping, but hopefully, that’ll get fixed. Overall, I’m very happy with the speaker.

I love and trust this item. I had one before (which was stolen) and so I thought that, by paying £10.99 for delivery, I’d get a new one in time for a presentation I had to do, 2 days after the due arrival date. It has still not arrived and I am extremely dissatisfied!

Is very portable, good size and is very loud.As a DJ and music producer though, I found the low end quite muddy and when volume turned up, the highs were painful on the ears. Needs some significant EQing. Sent back and good customer service provided.

I am a closet audiophile on a budget who wanted a competent portable bluetooth speaker to use while traveling. Something small enough to toss in a carry-on and focused on the best sound quality possible in a small package. We have a nice sound system at home where we listen to multi-layered tracks in jazz, pop, r&b and other genres, e.g. by Keb Mo, Paul Simon, Ben Sidran, etc. This little speaker blows me away. I appreciate the clarity of thought evident in the design - there are no bells and whistles here, just great sound. So not for the beach or by the pool, it's not dust or waterproof. Bluetooth 5.0 gets the job done - the speaker driver, amp and DAC matter way more. You have the option to hardwire in if you prefer. It's a simple aluminum cylinder with a 28wHr battery in the bottom, a 50w class D amp above that and a custom designed 3" speaker driver at the top. Their iOS app works great, offering a 5-band equalizer and all the controls you need. Buy 2 and you can run them in stereo.I've heard a lot of small portable Bluetooth speakers, and none have impressed until now. Paul Simon's "Diamonds on the Soles of her Shoes"? Heck yeah! That sounds amazing. OK, don't expect bass "thump" from a 3" driver. That's not physically possible. But the baseline is there. Mid's are full, the treble crystal clear. Likewise with Ben Sidran's "Swing State". Sounds amazing. Highly recommended.

Small, portable, great loud sound, and incredible battery life! The customer support team was also very supportive and proactive with an international exchange due to a defect. Definitely recommend it for anyone that wants a nice indoor and portable speaker that can change the ambience for hours and hours.

Extremely loud for the size. Very good for dj and great battery. Sometimes the bluetooth has some minor issues, but it's worth every cent. I already have 2 and 1 subwoofer

音に臨場感があり、すごく良かったです。

Super sound. I was a Bose fan. But this is out of this world for the price. Honest sound. And with a good DAC it's a super full honest sound. I'm happy. Gonna buy the subwoofer as well.
