Update May 2026: This company has good customer service. They responded quickly to the email below with a full refund. This was well after the return window. I will try them again the next time I need a battery.Original post: Product worked once. Now works for three seconds and shuts off. Troubleshooting ideas did not help. Return window closed. Can’t find a way to contact manufacturer. Can’t find if there was a warranty. Perhaps manufacturer will look at this and respond? If so, I will update this review.

This battery does not appear to deliver its advertised 6.5Ah capacity. After a full charge, it powered my 40V Greenworks mower for only about 15–20 minutes, which is similar to the runtime I get from my OEM 2.5Ah battery. By comparison, my OEM 5Ah battery typically lasts 45+ minutes under the same conditions.I also noticed significant self-discharge. After charging it fully the night before, the battery showed only 3 of 4 charge indicator lights the next morning while stored indoors at room temperature. In my experience, lithium-ion batteries should not lose that much charge overnight.Based on both runtime and charge retention, this battery did not perform as expected and does not appear to provide the advertised capacity.

These work well and are easy to install in my genuine Greenworks backpack blower and their 5 amp fast charger. I tried several other replacement batteries which were extremely difficult to get in or out. Furthermore several other brands will not charge to the full 4 light level. I also have the genuine Greenworks 5 amp battery and purchased 2 of the POWLLING 40V 6.5Ah which work great. The Powlling ones sell at a reasonable price. They are great - buy them

Works fine. Doesn't last as long as it should based on the 6.5Ah claimed. Probably last about twice as long as my 2Ah original batteries.

Barely lasted three months. I’m trying to find a way to contact the manufacturer, but I can’t. I used it about once or twice a week and charged it with a green work branded charger and it simply won’t work anymore.

I bought this in january for a backup for my greenworks snowblower. We never had enough snow this season to warrant use of a snowblower so it sat by the charger. I recently tried to use it on my greenworks leaf blower and it shuts down instantly. I'm out of the warranty period but its internally shorted.

Arrived on time. Packaging was excellent. Charged right up to max capacity.
