It was a lot of fun. The ice cream lever is really hard to push down when fully filled (both compartments) so we just fill 1/2 at a time and it was fine. A pain in the behind to clean (esp. the sprinkles) but it's worth it.

I bought this for my 2 and 3 year old grandsons. They both enjoyed making various ice cream treats. The 3 (almost 4) year old played with it for about 3 - 4 hours straight. As much as Play Dough can be messy this set created hours of enjoyment. I bought another that did not function well and had too many pieces. This was a great purchase that has resulted in hours of entertainment for my grandsons.

This Play-Doh ice cream set was a huge hit! The kids had so much fun making colorful swirled ice cream creations and using all the different accessories. Kids love it, but it's not easily cleaned up. They always leave playdoh in it for me to clean up, if I don't want it to harden in there!

My kids enjoy playing with this but it always gets play doh stuck in the crevices so you are either cleaning it out before or after it dries. I find it easier to clean once the play doh is dry. It makes lots of cute creations but it isn’t the easiest set to use. Definitely for older kids and not super sturdy.

It was a gift they asked for it

I bought this for my grandchildren and while the idea is wonderful the execution is not. Usually I always read the one star reviews first because I like to weigh if it is user error, amazon error or the product is just not good. In this case it is definitely the product has flaws. The lever to swirl the ice cream is a terrible design. None of my grandchildren could work it. It fell off constantly and when we could get it to work, it showed stress on the plastic. Just a few more uses and I'm sure it will snap in half. We love playdough and it pains me to say this. Everything else in this kit was adorable as usual. The playdough was two colors in the container. What a fun touch!

I got this for my daughter as she loves Play-Doh. Well, this seemed like a good idea in theory. It was not great when actually putting it to use. In the ice cream section, you have to constantly dig Play-Doh out of it so it doesn’t harden in there. If you use a little stick, it’s not that difficult to get it out when it’s still moist but once it gets hard, it’s almost impossible to get it out. The little area with the sprinkles traps so much Play-Doh in it and you’ll be digging Play-Doh out of that every time too. I ended up actually having to throw this away because it just became unusable within a few days without constant upkeep. For an older kid who could dig the Play-Doh out this might be better, but for a little kid, just be prepared that you will need to be cleaning it out constantly.

My son absolutely loves this set and making ice-creams for everyone. An adult is required to put it together as it is tricky and he needs a little help to use the functions (he is only 3) but he can play with this for ages. He especially likes making sprinkles with the 'sprinkle maker'. The set comes with some play dough pots but for best use of the set, I would probably recommend some extra pots as they quickly get mixed up. A Christmas gift set hit! The set includes little scoop, spoon, and other accessories which extend it's interest too.
