It’s delicious brewed on its own and caffeine-free, but my favorite discovery is how versatile it is. You can add some of the roasted rice to other teas and essentially customize them with as much or as little roasted brown rice flavor as you want. If you already enjoy genmaicha but particularly love the toasted rice component, this gives you a lot of freedom to experiment. The roasted rice aroma is the part I enjoy most, and this really delivers. It’s a unique product that I would happily purchase again. The product comes inside a sealed paper bag inside the tin.

I’m honestly torn if I should be consuming this as a tea or as a snack - both ways are delicious and light! Japan never fails me and neither does Senbird tea. Another solid product that is healthy, zero waste since you can eat the brown rice, and simple to make.
