Let me start off by saying I love asparagus. I grow asparagus in the backyard garden so I can have a good supply in the spring. This pickled asparagus as a delight. It is not too salty and the spears are not woody. They’re nice and tender without being mushy. Makes for an excellent snack.

I really enjoyed this pickled asparagus, it makes a visually interesting addition to a charcuterie board, instead of or in addition to traditional pickles.They were firmer and a bit crisper than I was expecting, in a very pleasant way. Not crunchy, but no mushy asparagus here. The flavor was very vinegar forward.Overall I definitely enjoyed, and I would repurchase for special occasions.

I love pickled asparagus! It has to be my absolute favorite pickled thing.This. Amish Valley Products asparagus, is a really good basic pickled asparagus. It has just the right amount of pickling and sour. I love snacking on these crispy spears. They are addictive for sure, I can't pass by the refrigerator without thinking about eating one! I love putting these on my charcuterie board, as the sourness compliments the cheese and meats.

Definitely got vinegar going, but not much other flavor like dill, peppers, etc. kinda boring to eat to me.

This is exactly what is described... Pickled Asparagus.If you like pickled things (vinegar), you'll probably like it. I love vinegar and think this is quite tasty. My wife? She doesn't like vinegar and doesn't care for it. We both love asparagus in general though.It is fairly crunchy, considering it came in a jar. The asparagus is not stringy at all. The mouthfeel is good.I'm not really sure what this would be good to pair with and just eat it as a snack.Final Verdict: Approved (for pickled food lovers)

I wanted Amish Valley Products Pickled Asparagus Spears because I like asparagus so it sounded interesting and Amish products are usually pretty good quality. The package arrived in a glass container with no damage. The flavor was OK and had a mostly vinegar taste, but the texture surprised me as I had expensive it to be slightly mushy but it was actually really crisp. They weren't bad, but not my thing.

If you like pickles and you like asparagus, you'll love these! The great taste of a pickle mixed with the texture of asparagus. I expected them to be a soggy, mushy mess after marinating in the pickling juice, but they manage to maintain their familiar asparagus quality! Normally, I wouldn't pay for something that grows wild on the side of the road, but the Amish have picked a peck of pickled perfection here and then packaged it nicely in a jar for your enjoyment.
