The flavor of the olive oil is ok, however, as someone with a deep appreciation for high quality EVOO, I would caution anyone who is considering purchasing this product. After doing some research regarding M.G. Pappas award claims and broad assertions of "over 300+ International Awards" and being "one of the most awarded EVOOs in the world" this could not be substantiated by direct searches on the official websites of major, reputable international olive oil competitions such as NYIOOC, London IOOC, Athena IOOC, and Terraolivo. In fact, no information concerning M.G. Pappas award wins could be found at all outside of e-commerce sites like Amazon and other grocery sites. Their unsubstantiated award claims makes me highly skeptical of their polyphenol content claims. With the high price tag, it’s worth doing some research.
