Many years ago, we had several directors chairs. They're long gone due to many moves and downsizing. I now decided 2 of these would be useful in the sunroom. They arrived today and are very nice. They are sturdier than I expected, and the shade of the wood is gorgeous. The reason for only 4 stars is because the color of the canvas is less vibrant than shown in pictures. I would prefer the color as depicted but will keep the chairs. It's not a bad color, just not quite what I had in mind. What's nice about the chairs is, a person can buy replacement canvas in different colors and switch them around.

I think it’s a great chair. It appears to be standard in size. Solid wood. I’m not sure which color I actually orders, I thought it was the green, the fabric I got is more of a gold. Assembly was almost nothing so very quick dragging the fabric wrapped dowels throught the base. See for yourself in photos !

The chair arrived right on time and was exactly as pictured, but the seat canvas was missing. I emailed customer service. They asked to see the invoice, so I emailed them the Amazon invoice. They weren't able to break-up the set and send just the seat so they sent both the missing seat and another back right away with very nice emails! BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! Perfect buying experience! Thank you!

Hard to fold, hinges are stiff and I had some back pain after trying to assemble it. Will be returning. The fabric color is also much lighter than on the picture.

We love this chair. It sits just a tad higher than some older director chairs we have. It is very comfortable for out indoor patio and we also use it for company. Well worth the money.

This is a nice “extra” casual seat. A bit smaller than I’d anticipated. Not for a big guy. Green was more of a khaki color but we still liked it. It will work well for extra sunroom seating.

Exactly as described, perfect for my need of portable seat while being a caregiver in crowded settings. Needed to put a bit of oil on moving brackets which were very tight but working fine now. Would buy again.

Prefer more rounded edges. Little too firm to open and close. Colour more of a taupe yellow khaki, instead of a green khaki as per photo, which i would have preferred. A few nicks here and there on one of the chairs. Good price point. Speedy delivery appreciated. Love them for their comfort and sturdiness.
