The media could not be loaded.  Bought this because it was a good price for a 10w and has the air assist. The fire alarm and gyro alarm were an added bonus! I’m a beginner and have never used a laser before. The instructions were easy to follow and set up was not complicated whatsoever. I think it took me maybe 15m. I first tried using the free software LASERGRBL and was able to make some coasters but you can’t design in that and it’s a little clunky so I did the free trial of LightBurn. I’m going to buy that once the free trial is up. I def recommend using LightBurn, it’s so much easier and there are quick videos on YouTube that show you how to use it. You can design in it and import pictures easily. If you’ve ever used a cutting machine like a Silhouette or Cricut, the LightBurn software is much like that. Now I’m easily making keychains! Haven’t tried metal or glass yet, but it’s on the project list. Definitely tested out wood and it works great. Air assist is definitely a needed feature!

I did a lot of research on 10W machines and found this one, so I decided to give it a try based on the reviews and its price (limit switches and air assist) when compared to other similar machines. I got it, assembled it and gave it a try. I was extremely impressed with is ease of operation and results. I must admit, I have prior experiences with other CO2 laser and S/W, so I was really looking and comparing results. So far, it has done well. I miss not being able to simply engrave (having to put black paper) or cut clear acrylic but that is not a problem since I have a CNC machine for that and thicker materials. I did buy the honeycomb grate, so I spend about $400 total (buy the extended warranty). I have mine setup by my garage entrance with a fan blowing the smoke outside. Take note. You need a ventilated area.

5/10/2024 After all the issues customer service seems to want to go backwards. They are trying to tell me how to set the machine up in LightBurn or LaserGRBL. This has to be the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. I have even sent pictures and it is truly frustrating that you can not get decent customer support. PLEASE FO NOT BUY THIS MACHINE!!! Even if they improve the hardware, the support makes it a terrible experience. I wish I could give then negative stars.5/03/2024 The machine has begun stopping before finishing the project. I am again recommending you DO NOT BUY this machine. Customer support is very slow to respond and even when they do, they are not quick to resolve the issue. I have also purchased another brand laser and have no issues with it at all. This has convinced me that the Mecpow brand is very poorly made and supported. My biggest regret in this is that by fooling around with Mecpow customer support my return date has passe and I am stuck with this lousy machine. Again, DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!!!4/16/2024 The Customer Support has been very good about doing all hat was promised. I am sure they will continue to be as supportive as they have been thus far. I look forward to many more years of using my Mecpow X3 Pro and possibly buying another laser from them in the future.03/26/2024 Update: The Mecpow customer support team has been in contact with me to resolve the issue. They have been very supportive of my issues and working verry hard to resolve them. I have changed my thoughts about their support and have raised my review to 4 stars and if this support continues I will have to go to 5 stars. I am learning that I may have too hasty to write the original review.

This laser is great. Easy to assemble only took about 30 minutes to set up. Sturdy material, love the black our other is silver. The height profile is lower which is nice. The fact that it has a key to lock machine and emergency stop is a great added feature. Ran a full test image of the pit bull, this image is a 3.25 x 3.75 it took approximately 13 minutes with air assist (which is a game changer). This was at 60% power and 5500 speed. Very impressed. Very clean edges. It runs fairly quiet even with air assist at full power. Easy to install the app and driver. Overall would buy this again. Can't seem to find a con as of yet.

The engraver keeps stopping in mid job and won't reconnect. It has ruined several jobs that had to be thrown away wiping out any profits. Tried it connected to several computers with the same problem.

Assembly is easy. The software that it recommends does not accommodate my needs, I opted for Laserweb as it allows for layers when Laser GRBL does not. Overall does what I need so far.I cannot stress this enough, get a cover! And use it in a well-ventilated area.

This laser worked for a couple jobs, then died mid engraving. When I say it died, I mean I watched the laser get dimmer over 5 passes then continue to move but stopped lighting up, the laser indicator on the board was lighting up but the laser was not powered. They did send me a new one, although they sent a whole new one instead of the head, now it seems like the track wheel is slightly off on this one. If it is a hobby that is just for fun use, it’s fine.

The media could not be loaded.  A good investment!I have seen these on the market and know a few people that have the CO2 versions that are out of my price range. I has thinking about cutting out some gears for a STEM/STEAM project I had in mind for the kids. It was something I could do by hand, but I would need 120 sets of gears and the cost to buy all the sets would be about double the price of the laser. Each set would contain five gears that would mesh so I can demostrate how gear ratios work. I ended up getting this version because of price and the included air assist. I am amazed at the easy build and the sturdy design. Within about 20 minutes I was cutting using LaserGRBL as the software. The gear PNG files I created using a wood gear generator online site. LaserGRBL can take these images and convert them in vector based images. I started out with 4mm basswood plywood and set up my power (90%) and speed (600mm) and cut my first gear. About 6 hours of laser time and I have all of the gears cut and bagged for the kids. I've included an image of the laser cutting, and a sample of a few of the gears I've cut. This thing has possibilies!

Die Lieferung kam 14 Tage früher als angegeben. Der Aufbau gestaltet sich selbsterklärend und war binnen 20 Minuten erledigt. Bedienungsanleitung auf Deutsch und dazu noch verständlich.Im Verbund mit Lightburn, nahezu Perfekt. Die ersten Versuche...naja war ok, aber nach kurzer Zeit hat auch das sehr gut geklappt.

Benché acquisto parecchio su Amazon,non ho la tendenza e la pazienza di lasciare recensioni. Ma questo è uno di quei casi in cui va fatto. Da tempo avevo in mente di dotarmi di un incisore laser, non per un reale bisogno e nemmeno per velleità oniriche; tanto per averlo ed imparare qualcosa di nuovo. Bèh, ho scelto il 10w per non sbagliare, l' ho montato in un attimo e subito ho inciso un albero trovato in rete...bello! Ho poi fatto il test che si trova nel software... tutto bene. I pezzi che si dovevano staccare, l' hanno fatto. In definitiva,mi sono stancato di scrivere, ma mi sento di consigliare assolutamente questo laser. Oltretutto è arrivato nel giro di quattro giorni,non un mese come preventivato. Ciao.

The media could not be loaded.  Aunque soy nueva en éste mundo, éste láser ha sido fácil de montar y fácil de configurar. El programa que uso es ligthburn y no es nada complicado, he visto varios vídeos en español y me ha servido bastante.Si que te recomiendo, que necesitas comprar una base o hacerla(como ha sido mi caso) metálica para no dañar tú mesa con los trabajos de corte.
