Not Bad at All
For the price you pay, not too shabby. Had a few spots where the wire was broken and a corner that was not stapled, other than that it was relatively easy to put together.Keep in mind, there are no screw holes to go into, just the primary screw holes to see where they go. The wood is easy to get the screw through and did not crack or splinter while doing so.I specifically ordered because the bottom was open. I want to be able to move the hutch to new grass and a fresh, clean spot every so often. Our bunny, Lola, is 9 weeks old now and has plenty of room for her to grow. Love that every side and layer is available to open for easy accessibility.

Breaks easily
We had it together for about a week and all was going well, we are using it as a brooder for our ducks for the daytime. Then yesterday the top of the coop slipped out of his grip and closed a little too hard. It broke some of the back side wood. Which is disappointing, we hoped to use this to brood our 2 ducks then to raise quail but at this rate I don't know if it will make it through summer. I think we can fix it but we have ordered other 3 coops from other sources over the years and now this to use as a brooder and haven't had a broken board in 2 years.

Great for Bunnies, Okay for Divas, Needs a Tougher Backbone
This rabbit hutch is like a middle school play—good effort, decent execution, but could definitely use some reinforcement. The size? Fabulous! My quails strutted in like it was a five-star hotel. The color? Meh. I’m colorblind, so it’s fine by me, but if quails could leave Yelp reviews, they’d probably demand something more on trend. Divas. Now, let’s talk about that floor. Wire mesh should really be an option here—because apparently, luxury for small animals involves avoiding their own poop. Who knew? And the whole structure could use a bit more muscle. It’s sturdy enough for now, but I wouldn’t challenge it to a strong wind or an ambitious raccoon. The removable tray is handy for cleaning (aka the least glamorous part of pet ownership), and the weatherproof roof means your pets stay cozy, even when the elements are throwing a tantrum. All in all, it’s functional and gets the job done, but it could go from “eh” to “wow” with a little extra thought.Four stars for size and effort, minus one for forgetting that quails and rabbits are tiny divas with big expectations.

Leaves a bit to be desired.
Didn’t really expect a lot considering the price, but I did expect a little bit more. Latches leave a lot to be desired and the lack of a latch for the top is very disconcerting. Any raccoon can easily lift the top and get in. So we had to add some. Door latches are a bit flimsy. Two bars of wood you have to move to prop the door up makes it seem even cheaper. The tray is the most disappointing part of this. The plastic is extremely slippery and even putting down hay has the poor bunnies slip-sliding away. The tray also doesn’t stay in very well and slips out a little. Would have been nice to have a catch to hold it in place. Ramps are narrower than the openings out the side and it would have been nice to have some sort of door to be able to close the side openings to secure them in at night. We had to add hardware cloth to the bottom to help protect them from the raccoons and foxes. It’s lightweight enough to be easily tipped over.If you have an indoor place this wouldn’t be bad, though the print on the polycarbonate sheet leaves a lot to be desired as far as aesthetics go.

It’s mehhh but It will do
First I wanna say for the price it’s going to do the job I guess. The material I guess it’s like a fake wood is very cheap and feels as if my bunny may chew his way out if he was an outside bunny I would definitely return due to this. Some of the pieces are wonky so my tray goes in like an old drawer off it’s track but again it will do the job I guess. The ramps don’t really seem wide enough for a big big bunny so take that into account. Last thing unless you are a professional ikea furniture builder you will need a buddy to help put this thing together.
