Do you need one for each TV?

You would. The only Mohu antenna that we suggest using with multiple TV's is the Sky 60.

I actually don't know--we didn't keep it for too long. The channels were choppy where we live so it was useless to us.

we live in a canyon.. will this work??

Maybe but not likely. Canyons tend to be a very problematic location for reception. You can visit www.gomohu.com/amazon and enter in your complete address for a channel scan but please note that most site tools do not take terrain into consideration when they return results. Often a test at the location is needed to see if the antenna will work.

So why is the more than buying direct from Mohu for $34.99 and they offer free shipping too??Hmmmm...
