Does this really work? I’d hate to spend that amount of money and find out differently.

It does for me. I had a very deep for vertical line on my forehead, just above the bridge of my nose. After using the first jar I hardly noticed the line. Occasionally I would also use the serum on the sides of my mouth. Although these lines are , they have softened. I see the difference in my pictures. I will continue to use this product. I am 76 yrs young.

I'm not certain what the question is? No7 is a cruelty free line of skin care products. For myself that's very important.

Does it have a scent?

There is ZERO detectable scent. I am always wary of trying any new beauty products because as is the case with many redheads, I have waged a 67-year long battle with a host of topical and airborne/nasal allergies and sensitivities. If anyone would have an issue with a product, it would be me. I promise you, there is no scent, no negative reactions, not even on sensitive eye, neck and decolette areas. Hope you give it a try. It's a really good product. I started seeing improvements in overall texture as well as with wrinkles and fine lines from first application. A tip: Go easy when you apply it... a little goes a long way.
