Rick and Morty Cluedo

For a fans of "Rick & Morty", like myself, who are interested in alternative versions of old classic board games, this is an interesting alternative. Rick & Morty meets Cluedo is exactly what you expect. Standard versions are great, but having crossovers like this are genuinely enjoyable. I would like to see the games manufacturers really go to town with special editions like these, because it's one for fans, so go mad, really go overboard with them. It's still a great set regardless.

After having played a few times the concept of the game is the same as the origina board gamel. From a gameplay perspective things are a touch different in how can move around the board with corner portals . And the number of rooms is higher than the original, about 14 to the original's 9. The game is definitely more fun with 3 or more players. You really have to focus on what other players are doing to get a leg up on the competition and win the game. And things do get tense as someone is getting close to solving it and run to earth in the center of the board to make their accusation/guess :) In our games we always seem to mention that the names and pictures on the tokens are quite small, making them hard to read, especially if you don't know much about Rick and Morty. This can have a direct impact on the game when everyone is paying attention, as you have to pick the tokens up to read them, giving away what you might/might not be interested in. Also in the same light, a couple of tokens have very similar images in terms of colour and shape, which become easy to mix up. The game has (out of necessity) some scrawny and fragile player tokens that have bits, like arms, that could easily break if not careful. Thankfully ours haven't. However these few minor inconveniences for what is definitely a fun re-envisioning of a classic board game should not stop you from getting it if you love Rick and Morty, or just a game that requires paying attention to everything going on, along with a bit of common sense and powers of deduction. Overall the game is brilliantly done, the style and colour of the board is superb along with the thrill of solving the mystery.

Game itself is great. Box was damaged when i received it and had to cellotape it back together. Would have returned it but it was a present and i didnt have time to return and get a new one etc. No big deal, everything inside the box was still there. Fast delivery

super fun and easy to learn. there was a slight issue with printing on one side of the coins but as long as you have them the other side up you wont notice

This is a great game even for two people. The instructors are clear and the board is exciting for Rick and Morty fans. However, the characters are not very sturdy and the limbs can break easily if pressed on hard.

Really great version. Enough variation to be super fun and different but similar enough to the classic to make it easy to learn.
