Absolute garbage! Followed instructions, watched YouTube vids about this, very inaccurate!Purchased this as I’m doing a cowboy job clad over crumbling ceiling with plasterboard. I thought this would be a life saver, find the studs/beams, mark up, plasterboard up, screw in, hey presto job done..... have I boll x, my missus was expecting the ceiling done but instead I went to the boozer, got blind drunk which was better than doing a days DIY’ing!Anyway, so I wasted my time buying this as I marked the beams from my loft, went back to try the machine and would you believe it, it might find it, give it the wrong width then no width, gave up!Do yourself a favour and get Stevie Wonder to point out whatever you are looking for, it will be more accurate than this POS!

Handy tool to have in your DIY kit.Not a keen DIYer (although the wife would like me to be) it's easy to check walls before hammering or drilling in to hang pictures etc.We have a few stud partition walls, and can be hard to find the wooden joists and to avoid any cabling running through them. Tested it out on one of these walls and found the wiring and the joists no problem..

A nice product and very useful! Seems to be working as described and accurate enough to detect AC wires in my house. I am not regret to buy this product! Thank you ! I will recommend to my friends who need this kind of tool!

Came in good time. Requires a single 9v battery which is not provided, but no worries. The instructions could be clearer but as far as I can tell this product works well and does exactly what it's supposed to. I would recommend getting one for sure. I've already changed several intended drill locations slightly.

 Very sensitive stud, metal and wire finder, easy to operate, for that price it is very good ! As you can see on the video it 100% shows wires and AC .

I've used this a few times now, but the more I use it the more unsure I am about it. After using it for about a minute trying to find a stud, you find one then try to locate the centre and may beep once then you try and locate it again and it just can't ind the middle. Then it seem to show it's close to the edge of the stud everywhere you move it and you need to turn it off and on and try again, It's actually drove me a bit mad. It did the same showing there was electrics in the wall at one point, like the entire wall was electrified. So if you buy it, text the spot several times to be sure it's giving an 'average' of the same reading just to be sure.

This is a great little product. It's very simple to use - you just move it around over a wall and it can be used for detecting electrical cables and where wooden beams are in the wall, etc. It's a clear display and easy to understand, so I'm very happy with it and makes doing DIY much safer.

I am really very happy with this stud finder. My old one was great until it got a bit old, but this one is so much easier. The digital display provides great reassurance (my old one didn’t have a screen at all) and with the arrows displayed you have a great indicator of exactly where studs/wires are lurking. A great purchase!
