Designed to completely hide your knot -AND- double rings provide an end connection or place to "dangle". These tips have an extension with rings on both sides. Your jump or split ring goes through these rings to keep the bead (cup) tip shut. Once you fold and press the halves together, it looks like a round bead, similar to crimp covers. Provides extra security. Side clamshells are perfect for ball chain termination. Bottom with Hook clamshells are perfect for multiple strand clasps/terminations, eliminates the need for that "extra" jump ring. *Tip* Add a stop bead (1-2mm seed bead) to your string end and place inside clamshell with a small drop of glue. Economical termination finding. MINI's are excellent for the tiny 1.5mm or smaller ball chains.
