Country & Western Gospel Hymnal Volume One: Large Book Paperback – Large Print, January 1, 1972

These are real collector items, and so useable. One of my go-to sources.

The seller, Lawerence was concerned as to whether I would like this book or not. I had this very book in this very size. no disappointment here. It arrived quickly and in excellent condition and I am very pleased. Thank you.

Quick delivery and great book. We have Retired Senior Volunteer Singing group that perform weekly at nursing homes and the folks enjoy the songs from this book and another hymn book. They especially enjoy the familiar ones. The music is written in Soprano, Alto, Tenor, Bass and the arrangements are easy to play and sing. The spiral binding makes the book "behave" on the piano so it doesn't need to be held by anyone and there is no page turning required to complete one song. In other words if the song is written on two pages, the two pages face each other. Notes are large which is helpful for older eyes and dim lighting.

I wanted a hymnal to be able to sit along with the people I visit as a volunteer in a nursing home here in Oklahoma. This has been perfect. The patients love these hymns and know most of them by heart. Though of an advanced age and often bedridden, the patients are so familiar and comfortable with these hymns, and the hymns always leave them with a huge smile.

Beautiful book, well presented, larger notes, easy to read, medium-ability, awesomeness. I use this book a LOT at nursing homes AND for the church choir.

Our choir loves this book. It has a lot of old country songs that we grew up with and several new ones that we are falling in love with. Excellent for little country choir churches.

I ordered the LARGE size books. We have a Sr. Choir at our church and now they can see the words and music very clearly and it is excellent even if they "forgot" their eye glasses! Everyone is happy with these books. I also received them in "good time!" Took about 3 to 4 days and we were in business. It was a good buy to say the least! (The teens don't want to use the smaller books anymore either, so they borrow ours!)

Came very timely in good conditions and with a sweet note attached!! I am enjoying playing all these songs again!!

Our ageing choir was happy to replace their small copies of this version of Country & Western Hymnal with the much larger one.

Bought this volume to replace lost original I had from the 70's. Pleased to be reunited with lots of my favourite gospel songs like "Jesus and me". I was not so taken with the large format but there again could be useful for our newly formed Male Voice Group rehearsals although it would have benefited from a stiffer cover.

Just what I was looking for - and being the larger A4 size, clearer too.

Great old hymns . Large print. Plan to order other volumes! The larger size is a bit floppy on my smaller piano but it is a great book.
