I only burned mine a few minutes then blew it out. the aroma tends to linger slightly afterwards. at first I could not get the lid off of one.. no matter how I tried. then I thought it may be like a pickle jar where you have to break the pressurized seal. I took a butter knife and tapped the lid all around several times and that did the trick.
