One of my favorite cups
I’ve tried a lot of tumblers over the years, and this one is easily one of the best. The quality is outstanding, and it’s built to last. The stainless steel construction feels solid and durable, and after daily use, it still looks and performs like new. The leakproof lid is a huge plus—I can toss it in my bag without worrying about spills. It keeps my drinks cold for hours, even on hot days, and the comfortable handle makes it easy to carry wherever I go. I also love that it fits in my car’s cup holder despite its large size. If you’re looking for a stylish, durable tumbler that keeps drinks cold all day and is made to withstand everyday use, this is an excellent choice. I highly recommend it!

Great tumbler!! You need it!!
I was sent the wrong color but that didn’t bother me much as I just needed a new tumbler! This is my favorite tumbler I have ever used. Truly spill proof when in the locked position and easy to clean! I have already bought a second one! Material is great quality & holds up well. Fits in my car cup holder and is not too heavy to carry around like other 40oz tumblers! Keeps my drink cold all day. Material and packaging are great the cup has a soft feel to it. I would recommend!

Great cup! The hype is true after all
Love love love! I waited a long time to finally buy on of these! They caught my eyes months ago when they first popped up on social media. But, social media will always hype up anything to get sales so I told myself I would wait awhile to see if after all the hype died down if people still said it was a good product. And it indeed is! Keeps ice cold and doesnt melt for at least 24 hours! I love all the features and the locking lid, which is actually spill proof! Love the colors and the solid feel of it as well. It is a little heavy and I only got the 30oz. I also got the straw cap cover and boot cover to keep bugs from flying in my straw and to protect the bottom incase it gets dropped, as alot of people say it will dent on the bottom if dropped then it doesn't sit up properly. All in all a great cup!!! I will be buying more of the newer ones next!

My Go-To Water & Cold Drink Cup
I’ve been using the 40oz BrüMate Era as my main water and cold drink cup, and it has been incredibly reliable. The quality and insulation are exactly what I hoped for, especially living in Florida heat. Quick highlights: - Soft, comfortable silicone straw for easy sipping - Comfortable handle design - Truly leakproof when locked - Traditional, easy-to-use threading - Excellent insulation (ice lasts 24+ hours for me) - Durable, premium build The silicone straw is soft and comfortable to drink from, which I really appreciate compared to harder plastic or metal straws. It’s very convenient and easy to sip from throughout the day. The handle is comfortable to hold and makes carrying the cup easy despite the larger 40oz size. The lid seals extremely well when locked. The Era uses a turn-style dial lock, which feels secure and easy to control. I’ve tipped and shaken it during normal daily use, and it stays completely sealed. The traditional threading is simple and familiar, which makes opening and closing quick and easy. The insulation is excellent. I regularly still have ice left after a full day, even with Florida temperatures, which honestly impressed me. The overall build feels sturdy, durable, and well-made. Quick Era vs. MÜV Comparison (For Anyone Choosing Between Them) I also own the 35oz MÜV mug and use them for different purposes. I usually use the Era for water and cold drinks, while the MÜV is my coffee and warm drink mug. Both are built with the same quality and insulation and handle hot or cold drinks equally well. Era: - Straw for easy sipping - Turn dial lid lock - Traditional threading - Larger 40oz capacity MÜV: - Direct drink opening (no straw) - MagFlip push/flip lid latch - OctaLock adjustable threading - 35oz capacity Both: - Truly leakproof when properly sealed - Require actively locking the lid - Excellent insulation and premium construction If you prefer straw sipping and a larger hydration cup, the Era is an excellent choice.

Truly Leak-Proof and Keeps Drinks Cold All Day!
I absolutely love this cup! It’s completely leak-proof, so I never have to worry about spills. The straw comes apart for easy cleaning, which makes it much easier to keep clean and helps prevent mold from building up. It also keeps my water cold all day long, even with regular use. The quality is excellent, and I highly recommend it!

It comes completely apart for easy cleaning.
This is a great tumbler. If you want a sturdy tumbler that is made of good quality, this is the one for you. I recently bought a Hydrojug tumbler thinking that it was going to be a good tumbler, but to my surprise, it wasn't. I bought it on 4/26, it was delivered on 4/28. The whole tumbler came apart except the sipping straw on the top of the lid. Underneath the sipping straw was a mess. Everything that can get caught underneath the straw could and would. Mine however was laced with MOLD! There was no cleaning it, soaking it or doing anything to it to get it cleaned. I ended up throwing the tumbler away because of the mold. I only had the tumbler for 1 month and 7 days. Nothing like throwing money away when you don't have a lot to spend. I did however, start looking for a new tumbler that would come COMPLETELY apart. I did my homework and read reviews to a lot of tumblers. I finally came across the BruMate Era tumbler. I like the fact that it does come completely apart including the straw so that you can clean every little crack and crevice. I think I have found my new tumbler when this one goes bad or it gets too dented from dropping it or it getting knocked over.

Pros & Cons (esp compared to Owala)
I bought this and a similar-styled Owala (same capacity, 40oz) 4 months ago because I was stuck between the two and couldn't make up my mind. After having used both as a daily carry for months, I have some (hopefully) interesting insights! (Btw, I won't talk about the general build quality & aesthetics because I think both are high/similar quality, well made, both have held up well, and I think both look beautiful). Pros of BruMate: - Outer Coating: Hard to explain, but Brumate's outer coating material gives it more of a slight sheen and a subtly more "premium" look & feel; functionally, it dirties a little less than my Owala between washes. - Built-in Rubber Bottom: I remember having to shop for this separately for my Owala and just gave up on it, but the Brumate just comes with a rubber bottom to keep it from sliding. Honestly haven't noticed much of a difference on the sliding front (I just set it on a desk most of the time so... sliding isn't much of an issue); but it DOES cushion the bottom just a teeny bit more from dings and being dropped. My Owala, which has a dent in the bottom corner, wobbles a little now when it's set down, and because it's just plastic at the bottom is a lot more vocal about it when I set it down lol. Not saying my Brumate isn't dented a little either (it's unavoidable with daily use), but the rubber just helps it wobble less and is quieter. - Stainless Steel STRAW: This has been harder to find in other tumblers, so that's a unique plus. For example, my Owala came with a plastic straw. - Leakproof (best for TRAVEL): It does what it promises. For those wondering if this feature will actually come in handy for you, you'll maximize your ROI if you're a frequent traveler or ride-sharer. On my daily commutes, I always had a reliable countertop/desk wherever I went, and a guaranteed cupholder in my car, so the leakproof feature made no difference. I DID however notice the difference on actual travel trips i.e. camping where I found myself having to hold my tumbler at crazy angles/upside down while trying to transport an armful of other stuff. It's especially come in clutch whenever I've had to use Ubers/Lyfts. With my Owala, I remember having to place it on the ground and hold it tight between my feet the WHOLE ride every time to keep it from falling over & spilling, but with my Brumate, I was able to just toss it onto the empty seat next to me. Cons of Brumate: - Non-extendable Straw: This is only a potential con and a minor one at that, but unlike my Owala, where I could adjust how much the straw came out, the Brumate one is fixed length outside of the tumbler (obviously to keep the leakproof feature). I got used to it after a while, but you do have to bring the tumbler closer to your face, and it gets a little cumbersome sometimes when it's just been refilled and at its heaviest. On that note, I believe the Brumate is a little heavier to begin with as well. - Hard to Clean: This is by far the biggest con. There's another reviewer who wrote a very detailed review explaining this, and I wholeheartedly stand by it. The mold buildup happens as it would any other tumbler (including my Owala), but whereas my Owala only has 3 very SIMPLE (and easy to clean) moving parts, the Brumate has 4 INTRICATELY connecting parts, each with a ton of tiny nooks & crannies. The "joint" between the inner straw and the lid is probably the worst. It has tiny crevices that are incredibly hard to reach and clean--I mean there's even a "Brumate" inscription on the straw itself that collects mold inside the lettering that's been SO annoying to clean and is totally unnecessary. After having spent the past 20 minutes attempting to deep clean this entire thing with the tiniest brushes I could find and STILL finding some moldy corners, I think I may reserve the Brumate for true traveling only and go back to the Owala as my daily carry. In summary: the Brumate does exactly what it says it'll do, is well built, looks beautiful, and really WOULD be the superior tumbler for TRAVEL, so I give it 4 stars. Just keep in mind that it may not be the most practical as your daily carry... unless you have a high tolerance for ingesting some mold here and there lol.

We can put a man on the moon AND now, finally, create a leak-free tumbler!!!
***Update to add: Purchased July 2024. Handle broke off August 2025. What a bummer.*** ***Update to add, again: BrüMate is sending me a Warranty replacement. 🫶 I freaking love my 40oz Brümate tumbler! I love it so much that I could easily give it 10 stars out of 5. The reasons for the four star rating are this: cost & finish. The cost - even though I paid it - is likely prohibitive for many. I'd order a few more for myself and each member of my family, but for the exorbitant cost. $81.80 is a small fortune to pay for this leak-free beauty. But, it is leak-free, so 🤷♀️. In terms of the finish, I'm slightly disappointed. I really love the dark aura colour but I don't like that fingerprints and smudges are constantly needing to be cleaned off. I ordered it only to discover that this particular finish can't go into the dishwasher. The later isn't a huge issue, but the finger prints really bother me. I work in a professional setting and I don't want my work cup to appear dirty. Had I known this before ordering I'd have chosen a cup that could go into the dishwasher and that didn't show so many marks on it from handling. It fits in my car cup holder, bonus! It keeps my drinks cold (coldest if you keep the straw in the closed position) and is easy to clean and carry. Forget Stanley. Get a Brümate...maybe just a different colour if fingerprints irk you. ***Update to add: Purchased July 2024. Handle broke off August 2025. What a bummer. :(

BEST FEATURES! LOVE THIS CUP!
These cups exceed all expectations! I love the no spill flexible straw. They keep drinks cold longer than any other insulated cup I've tried. They fit in all cup holders. The only draw back is the high price. If they went on sale, I would buy many more. I constantly get compliments on mine and it's the only cup I use now.

Favourite cup
A little pricey for those of us in Canada, however completely worth the price very easy to take apart and assemble as well as to clean!!

Love my BruMate
Take this everywhere with me, including the gym as it fits in all cup holders. Keeps my water cold all day. Doesn’t leak a single drop when the leak proof is on. I purchased the blue colour and I love it but my only gripe is that it has become discoloured around the rim and the handle where the material is different and I can’t get it back to its original colour :( If I was to purchase again it would be a darker colour.
