1080P BodyCam with Magnetic Lanyrad

I purchased a camera so I could feel safe while walking outside. Unfortunately, there has been more incidents of dogs off leashes and hostile owners. While I now carry pepper spray and a walking stick, I thought this might make sense to have with me should I ever be forced to defend myself against someone or a dog. Last thing I want is a his word against my word situation. While most idiots have nothing to lose, I love my job and my home. This camera is the perfect solution. No, it won't physically protect me, but it will protect me against any lawsuits that could result from me being forced to defend myself.Pros - Great picture quality, nice viewing screen, great magnetic lanyard, 180 degree tilt screen, comes with an SD card with a USB adapter, works great in my Windows 10 PC without extra software (I just use File Explorer), easy to use navigation (after you teach yourself to use it), time/date stamps, screen stays off while you are using it, small package, discrete (all black).Cons - Instructions that came with it aren't very helpful (but after playing with the camera for 20 minutes, you really get the hang of it), I don't think it is waterproof, there isn't any image stabilization so if you are running you will get a very jumpy video (I walk, and it's still pretty jumpy), wish the microphone was a bit more sensitive.Overall, I give it 5 stars. Now that I have the hang of the onboard menus, this thing is a breeze to use. I don't think the jumpy video will be a problem because if I'm interacting with someone we will likely be standing still and talking. I don't tend to walk in the rain, so I'm not worried about it being waterproof. This thing is a tiny little package with a wonderful lanyard for easy carrying, and it will literally record my entire walks without any problem. For the price, I'm amazed. I recommend it for anyone planning to use it for a similar situation as I use it. As a side note, it does get a little warm after it's been running for 20 minutes or so - no hot at all, but a little warm. It's definitely not a problem for me. Again, I honestly can't believe how great this thing is - especially for the low price. 10 years ago something like this would have probably cost $400. Thanks for reading, and I wish you well!

I totally recommend this camera. Easy to use buttons in front, full sounding speaker. Doesn't have IR but as long as you have light you can see. You can turn on the led lights and it records in color at night. The spring loaded clip is my favorite part about this camera. Super easy peasy, ALL mini body cams should have this clip and set at this height. Perfect for pocket poles. I clip mine at the button openings on my polo shirts right in the middle there. Ive tried others and they were returned. This camera here is my go to, its the BOSS. My only request is add night vision. So you dont look like a flashlight at night. But seriously you want a mini body cam, GET THIS. You wont be disappointed. Try others out also, and you will see exactly what im saying. You will be back here saying exactly what I just said.

Perfect little camera for work

I was in need of a body camera for safety purposes. People around my neighborhood have been harassed while walking their dogs, and in order to have evidence for law enforcement in the event this happened to me, I started looking for a good and small body camera. I came across this purchase and I love it.Fortunately, I have not had to record any encounters with people harassing me, but I carry it with me every day and record while on my walks. The quality is pretty good for the cost and the battery life is a few hours if recording nonstop. It connects to Wi-Fi so very efficient and easy to connect to a network.The videos are high-quality - not too bad for the price! Also, it can be mounted onto anything, so perfect for using it while biking, or even while driving if you don't have a dashcam!Highly recommend it - might be a second!

The rubber strap pulls out of the bracket and the camera falls off! When downloading the video files via WiFi it’s so slow it times out every time and nothing downloads! Also, doesn’t work w MAC file formats, so only buy if you use a pc!!

Takes fiddling awhile to understand buttons and functions but once you operate the camera the outcome is outstanding! Sharp, bright video. No smearing. Great audio. Records in 5 minute segments but it's continuous. My test was for an hour of steady recording in a store. I'm glad I chose this camera and recommend anyone give it a try.The mini SD card is accompanied with a USB adapter to insert in your computer to download your videos. The files are quite large, however, so prepare to dedicate space or an external drive for storage.

The media could not be loaded. Only 1080p in very well lite areas or outside in the day time. when its gets dark it gets very pixelated to the point of the video being useless.

Purchased this to video record my rear trackbar on my 1999 Jeep so I can see where the issues are. I tested the camera and its okay. Its not a high resolution 4K output, and the color imaging is off a bit. Contrast seems to be too high. for the price and what you get, its totally worth it. I did have to get some assistance from support to turn the beeping off. otherwise its a solid camera. Battery life seems okay, I never ran it longer than 2-3 mins at a time, but for my needs it will suffice. I took 1 star away because of the poor user manual. Functionally its 5 star based on its price. It navigates and works at a good speed, and has plenty of memory capacity for basic needs. Its about the size of a firestick remote, and comes complete with all the accessories you'll need.
