I bought this not knowing what to expect. I have tried refilling the original Braun cleaning fluid tray but it is impossible to empty and rinse so it always had somewhat dirty solution. The oem cartridges are too expensive so I tried this solution. I filled the base following instructions (cleaner + 150ml water) but the cleaning cycle wouldn't start. I had to add a bit more water with the lid on. The cleaning cycle started and my razor is clean! So far, it works great. I'm glad I bought this!

Review because it is word for word exactly what I have to say about this cartridge I want my money back this is a terrible product "bought this hoping for a solution to the expensive $5+ EA Braun Clean and Renew Refill cartridges but I’m not pleased with results. First off, this reusable cartridge is made well but why doesn’t the top snap onto the bottom instead of just sitting loose on top? Thats a poor design! And to prove this, I can tell you more than once when my cleaning base got bumped accidentally its spilled solution all over the counter. Not cool! This needs to be reengineered. Speaking of the cartridge, the top half of it contains a thin white translucent film layer over a 1” hole that appears to be a filter but none of their marketing material addresses this (see pic). It looks like it can be peeled off but I’ve just left it intact not really knowing what its function is. It doesn’t clean the shaver head as well. After the cleaning cycle, when I pop off the head to look, there are still clumps of hair, still damp, remaining in the cutters (see pic). The Braun OEM cartridge never exhibited this. Also, the detergent pack doesn’t contain alcohol in the solution (and seller even uses that as a selling point). It’s NOT a positive. It doesn’t dry out the shaver head properly, so you when you hoist the razor out of the cleaning base and put it against your face … Surprise! IT’S STILL WET! Annoying! By comparison, the Braun OEM cartridges leave your shaver smelling clean and pleasant. This detergent solution leaves a funny metallic smell lingering on the head which is off-putting when I’m shaving (since it’s near my nose the whole time), making me wonder if it really cleaned my shaver or not. I think having the alcohol in the mix is a good thing! Finally after the now second use of the detergent solution packet, I’ve seen a sticky residue present inside the base where the shaver sits; and also when I open up the reusable cartridge, it’s in the water mixture. Not sure what that is. I’d stay clear of this product. I’m going back to the Braun OEM Clean and Renew Refill Cartridge. That always did a good job. Hopefully I haven’t ruined my shaver or base for good! 😑" Also it does not fit correctly in place

Works well enough. First time I used it, I made the solution with water per instructions. However, I don’t feel it cleaned well enough or fried quickly enough, so now I’m using 99 volume isopropyl alcohol. I’ll update this review after a few weeks to report my findings.

The Yinke reusable cleaning cartridges were one of the worst purchases I’ve made in a long time. The cleaning solution developed a terrible smell — almost like rotting fruit — within just 2 to 3 days of installing a new refill. The odor was especially unbearable while shaving since it was so close to my nose, and the smell lingered throughout the day. I gave the product three separate chances in one week, hoping it was just a bad refill, but every one had the same issue. On top of that, it didn’t seem to clean the shaver very well either. I ended up throwing away the remaining refills and going back to the original Braun cleaning cartridges. Total waste of money. I would not recommend this product at all. Stay away from it.

The cartridge is made out of good quality plastic. It fits the cleaning dock perfectly. However, I applied one of the small cartridges and filled with water up to the fill line, started the cleaning process, once completed the shaver still had hair inside and the razor still had lots of water inside. Ran another cycle with no change. I am assuming the solution provided is not of great quality and does not evaporate as it is supposed to like the original cartridge.

Great value and scent, same compatibility as namesake at a fraction of cost. Drys just as fast and just as effective. Easy to use
