I've been cleaning gears and oil coated parts with Simple Green. Also polished up some stainless with amazing results. Some comments say it takes a while to heat up, which is does. I just turn it on and let it warm up while I prepare parts and it's usually to temp by the time I'm done. It's also not too noisy. I can run it in my workshop and not hear it much when I go to the next room. And I can easily have a conversation or listen to the radio with it running two feet away. So far, used 3-5 times/week average for 30-60 minutes per session, it's doing well. I decided on this model based on product research and brand name. Also, I opted for one size bigger than I needed, which turned out to be a wise choice.
