Effortless residue removal
If you haven't used a eraser wheel like this one, it is exactly what it says it is: an eraser wheel. Like a pencil eraser, but in a wheel format. With a way to attach it to your drill. The last one I had was crucial in removing the adhesive tape from the door guards on my truck I was trying to be rid of.This comes compactly packaged and included a piece of rubber hose on the wheel to keep the threads from poking through the other side of the box. Something I didn't think I'd mention is the smell and it's actually rather pleasant. It's not that noxious plastic smell that you sometimes get some new rubber products that you have to let sit outside for a few hours. One of the hardest stickers I've ever tried to remove is the UPC code on Dewalt saw blades. The top layer rips off leaving layer that can't be peeled off. My thought was that if this wheel will remove that sticker it'sa quality eraser wheel and everything else I try will be easier. It took mere seconds for this wheel to eliminate and traces of the sticker on the blade. If you've got similar sticker residue you need to remove, save yourself a LOT of time and get one of these.

It's an eraser. That spins.
These are great for removing decals and emblem glue for vehicles. Or old bumper stickers that the previous owner just had plaster all over the car. The wheel screws into the piece that goes into the drill and then you attach it to a drill of the non impact variety. I will mention that you need to go in the forward direction so as not to have it unscrew during use. When using just remember to keep it moving and not in the same small area or you will cause damage to the underlying item. After it gets to the point that's marked as the throwaway line you can usually put the drill in reverse and get the wheel to loosen up on the mandrel it was screwed into.

Sturdy
Haven't had too many times thus far to get to use the decal remover eraser wheel. But what has been we are quiet happy with. First the fact that it is one of the bigger wheels is very nice. There is a nice density to it; just enough soft to if to along with just enough stiff to it (makes sense if you know). Seems to hold up well with use and not eat right through it. Will update if the durability or anything note worthy would change as use is continued.

so convenient
Sticker eraser wheels make taking stickers off a cinch. Just be careful not to burn the same spot for too long. It is gentle on the paint and tough on the sticker. It will hold up for a solid amount of use. they are so easy to use

Does the job!
Works best at very low RPM.Tested it out on a parking permit decal attached to a scooter fender. It was the stubborn type similar material to license plate stickers. The wheel removed it without damaging the paint.A few drops of low strength threadlocker will keep the wheel from unscrewing from the arbor.Handy item.

Watch that pin-stripe disappear !
The Quenching decal eraser works as advertised. I used the eraser to remove an old, faded and cracked pinstripe on my 24-year-old Ford Ranger. I used the eraser, then hosed off the eraser dust, dried, and then followed-up with some ceramic wax. I was able to remove the stripe on one side with one eraser wheel and will need a second eraser for the other side. It causes no damage to the paint as long as you follow instructions. You must keep the eraser moving, don't stop in one spot, keep moving. Be sure to wear a dust mask and protect those lungs. It will throw a lot of eraser dust.

Depends on type of sticker
First attempt resulted in a smeared mess from attempting to remove a paper backed sticker. It worked way better when removing a dealer vinyl decal from rear of vehicle. I think this will be best used for old hard vinyl decals that tear when heat and peel technique is used.

overall a good option for removing decals and tape residue!
this decal removal wheel is smaller than the listing describes as some other reviewers pointed out, just to get that out of the way, it measures just shy of 4" at 3.59" , it is .75" thick and works great! i used this to remove double sided tape adhesive from my car doors and it did flawless!also this is a little weird, but the disk itself has a pleasant smell like vanilla coconut if you care about how your decal removal eraser smells!
