I was very frustrated with the compostable bags I'd purchased after the last vendor's product was not available on Amazon. It broke if you looked hard at it, so that I had to carry the bag IN the can to the trash bin and dump it in opened, because I couldn't lift it out of the can to tie it.So I ordered this product with a skeptical heart. It was the same thickness as my current unsatisfactory bags, so I had some trepidation.When this new product was delivered, I could tell immediately that this was a superior type of bag, very much like the bags I used to use. They felt thicker and stronger than my current bags, even thought they were supposed to be the same thickness. .I've used the bags a few times now. They haven't ripped. I can pull the bag out of the can and carry it to the bin without issue. They haven't leaked.I also appreciate that this box contains 100 bags, instead of 50, which was the max the unsatisfactory product provided.This product has the Jaed Seal of Approval!

These bags are great!! Very sturdy! I haven’t had one break yet. Been very pleased and good pricing when comparing to other brands. Highly recommend!

We use this trash bag to house other filled compostable bags. 13 gallon is too big a size for daily trash (3 gallon bag is enough for daily stuff). This one is strong. But sometimes, there is a little bit of leaking and so I have started using 2 bags instead of 1. Also, it doesn't have drawstrings. But overall, a great product.

With compost mandated in my city, these bags are helpful in that they make it less messy and easy to throw out. Just be careful not to overload. They do start to disintegrate rapidly especially if overloaded or too wet. So I double line my trash bin. I put a regular one in first and the green one inside to protect my bin in case it leaks through.

We love these. Bought first box over a year ago for our food scraps that we collect all week and keep in the fridge until green waste pick up. We use 1-2 bags a week. Never tears or rips. Love the ties on the bag. Easy to open and close and transport. We finally ran out of bags and bought 4 more boxes which will last us for years. The new bags this size have larger opening which really helps! It’s a winner!

These bags hit the mark! I’ve wanted to find a truly compostable bag for the 13 gal kitchen trash cans. So far, these bags are holding up and doing the job. I’m so happy to replace the typical non-compostable white plastic bags we’ve been using forever… another small step in reducing our use of plastics!

Every bag split down the sides when trying to open.

I purchased these because I truly do want to make a difference with all the trash and plastic waste issues.However, for the money spent, they still need some work. The rip very easily, even when I just "shake" them to open them, my finger goes right through. When taking them out of the trash bin, the edges rip immediately and I literally have to grab the bag down the side and get it out. In order to prevent this, I basically can only fill it up halfway.It also rips at the bottom depending on what you're thrown in there, so now I'm doubling up on the bags which, of course, isn't cost effective.I'll use these until they're gone, but unfortunately won't be repurchasing.
