This phone holder is of good quality and can be mounted wherever you want. It's smallish, so you should try positioning it before applying the sticky tape. I used the additional sticky pad that's provided to mount the magnetic holder because the dash on my truck isn't perfectly smooth. I have a thick rubber Otter Box case for my phone, which wouldn't be a secure place to tape on the provided steel plate, so I taped it directly to the back of my phone, down low for fit, and put the case back on. This only marginally worked because the magnetism didn't work well through the rubber. So, I ended up cutting an opening through my phone case to fully expose the metal plate. I regularly travel Class -2 to Class-4 backroads up here in Vermont, but my phone no longer falls to the floor like it has in the past; it stays right where I put it.

I loved this car mount. I had it for years and it worked great and the adhesive never fell off. The magnets are strong and held up even when I hit a pothole and cracked my wheel. Lol. I upgraded to the MagSafe version and that one works just as good too.

Solid product

This magnetic phone holder works really well and does exactly what it’s supposed to. The magnet is strong enough to keep my phone secure, even on bumpy roads, and it’s super easy to attach and remove the phone with one hand. Installation was quick and simple too. It’s compact and doesn’t take up much space on the dashboard, which I like. Overall, a reliable and convenient phone mount that I’d definitely recommend.

It works well as most. The advertised heavy duty plates did not ad much strength as the magnets were the same as non heavy duty.

It will not hold all cell phones with the magnetic case.. If your case is silly smooth FORGET IT. It will fall right off. I had purchased couple different ones and will not hold my phone, falls right off. I do not recommend them unless you want a boring cell phone cover.

My favorite car mount! I ended up giving my last one away because no one seems to think car mounts are as simple as this one is. I can’t stand the suction style mounts, they’re too much trouble to adjust, the air vent mounts broke two of my car vents. This is the easiest & durable def read instructions, let sit X amount of time before using it with ur phone to reinforce its durability. Third pic shows the base is bendable to fit the curve of your dash depending on the placement or vehicle dash style and location for where you decide to place it.

No sirve el imán, no detiene un iphone 16 pro. No entiendo como a otras personas les funciona, pero el imán es lo más débil que he visto, no detiene nada. No probé su adherencia al vehículo.

With the larger format heavier phones available now, I found the regular strength magnets just didn't hold properly. I replaced my existing vehicle mounts with these higher powered magnets and they definitely make a difference. I have a Samsung Ultra 24 and a clear vinyl cover and it stick through that just fine. They're affordable and do the job you want.
