Obsessed with these
To confirm these are the same orange smaller packet Takis. They are the mild spiciness, not the super hot one. I went on a rabbit hole to confirm these were the same ones just different design. They taste great, fresh, spicy, the same as the "travel size". The only thing that's different and I didnt enjoy was the excess seasoning/powder. The convenience store packets dont have this excess powder. I had to frequently try to clean the excess chile. It is a great value for your money. Typically the store ones are like $3, so you definitely get more for your buck here.

Very decent product.
It would have been 5 stars but the looked like it was just thrown in there because it was smashed. Meanwhile the delivery box from Amazon was just fine.

Flare, the original HotNutz
Flare aka original, the best flavor in my opinion and almost a pound in a resealable bag! Much better price than your standard gas station fair too.

Bag Did Not Look as Listed, Was Difficult to Open. Hard Shell Exterior of (3) Alarm Spiced Nuts
Bad start to this. The bag is ridiculously difficult to open, despite it otherwise looking like a typical foil type food bag that had a tear to open notch and a press to reseal bag feature. I tore where I should and the exterior plastic wrap peeled off the bag, rather than the bag opening. Best feature of the bag was its ability to reseal. Contents. A sea of deep orange chili and lime spiced nuts. Texture? Powdery, super hard β near break my teeth hard shell β spiced nuts. The nuts themselves are not that hard, but wow, is that spice shell. I was concerned over how hard these are. The larger nuts are the worst in terms of how hard they are, near jawbreaker hard. It forced me to be cautious. These kind of reminded me of the spicy extra hot Cheetos too. After a bit my jaw felt worked. Taste. There is no accounting for taste. However, these reminded me, texture wise, of the old-fashioned Boston Baked Beans candy coated peanuts and French Burnt Peanuts (without the nubs), except the shell is chili spice, which is the dominating flavor, and the lime is just a tad bit of the taste. Further, itβs no candy shell. The peanuts are just average, I came across some that were burnt and seemed a little soft β which was not that appetizing. Fire alarm hot? For me, three (3) star. How many can I eat at a time? I only ate one (1) at a time, having more than one (1) worried me about fracturing a tooth. Size & Weight The resealable bag measured 8β x 6β x 3β and weighed in at over a net (15) ounces. The sizes of the nuts were all over the place, from 1 gram to over 2 grams. It does not sound the big of a difference, but it is when trying to chew one. The sizes vary easily up to 17mm for the largest that I came across, to about almost half that size. How many in a bag? This is a guess based on average weight; I would venture to say about (300) nuts. Aroma? A slight citrus aroma, the lime I suspect. Brand history I am not familiar with this brand. Value? The price, at the time of this review, was competitive for a specialized snack. Added sugar? Yes, 3 grams per serving β a serving is 34 grams, which would be about 20 to 25. A teaspoon of sugar is 4 grams. So, this has sugar and heavy on the fat. When did I get these? Mid-April 2024 Expiration date? The only date I could find was June 26, 2024. For me, that seemed too close, thatβs a big negative. Storage? No mention whether this needs to be refrigerated, after being opened. Calories? Yes, of course, a serving, which is an ounce, is 190 calories. The bulk being from fats β hello, peanuts. Country of origin? Made in Mexico Bottom-line? I did keep trying these; however, I just became concerned over how hard these were and the workout I was placing on my teeth and jaws, which lasted after I was done eating these. I had no idea these would tax me that much. I really did not like the idea that the expiration was so close to my receipt. I had to have water with these to quiet the heat. For me, based on the totality, these are a three (3) at best. I hope my thoughts added information.

Great
Absolutely love these. The bag is well sized and worth the price for sure. I would get the little bags in the gas station for like $4, now I can just get these.
