I absolutely love Let’s Go! To Japan! The artwork is gorgeous, and the theme feels so cozy and immersive. I especially appreciate that the game works great for solo play but also offers a smooth multiplayer experience. Whether I’m playing alone or with friends, planning a trip day by day feels relaxing and rewarding.The gameplay strikes a perfect balance—not too simple, but definitely not overthinky. It flows nicely, making it easy to enjoy without feeling overwhelmed. Very fun and have played repeatedly. It's nice not to wait for everyone to take their turns. Not a lot of interaction but some.

A peaceful game. Best when played with friends who want to describe their trip while scoring up. Scoring takes as long as the game when the adventure is described - this vital part of the enjoyment is lost in the BGA adaptation

This is a wonderful game with a cool Japanese cultural travel appeal. Easy to learn and so much fun to play. Everyone I've taught this to either wants to play it again or buy it.

Such a great game. We had a lot of fun playing this. It was thinky enough without a long teach.

I'm a planner and a list maker and I love this game. You plan your days, strategically placing the cards below each day of the week so that the icons and rewards work to give you a good score. It plays in two parts, first planning by choosing cards. Second by activating each day and seeing how well your plans worked out. The cards are well illustrated and have background information about each of the locations and activities in Tokyo and Kyoto. I love how the game came to by as well. The creators were planning a trip to Japan when Covid happened so they took all of their research and came up with the game. Brilliant.

This game is easy to learn, plays fairly quickly and it has nice theme that fits the game.If you like take that in games this not a game for you, there is virtually no interaction between players.If you enjoy games that are more multi-player solitaire that require planning and figuring the combinations that will produce the highest score then this is your type of game.If you are a solo gamer then 100% you should try this game. The solo mode is excellent and the bot is easy to learn and run.
