Had this for a week or so at this point and it works as expected. It keeps my office cool and dry at around 10-15 degrees cooler than outside. The installation was okay if a bit annoying to set up the exhaust hose. You get better with time on those. Noise is about what one would expect. I feel its like white noise so I'm not bothered by it but you'll need headphone if you're doing work. The remote is alright but unnecessary for daily use. Design is sleek and functional. Not sure about energy efficiency just yet as this month's power bill hasn't popped up yet.

Works great. I would say the size room it cools is a bit over stated.

Works solid. Kept my garage in Phoenix nice and cold during 116 degree weather.

This 14000btu Dr. Prepare portable a/c: installation went fine. The unit connected to wifi fine. I set a temperature of 62 deg F in the room to be used in, and a temperature setpoint of 90 deg F and it ran cooled for about an hour. Then the compressor cut off and only the fan ran even though it was not close to the temperature setpoint. I unplugged it and tried resetting the smart life app. I had intermittent success but the unit compressor would randomly turn off leaving the room to get hot due to it recirculating with just the fan. I need this to keep very important electrical equipment cool while I am away from home for several days. I cannot afford for the unit to just quit cooling while gone. I performed a loss of power check to make sure it would turn back on to its preset settings and it did, however, the compressor would not turn on even though the indicator showed 62 deg F of cooling on the faceplate. I am an ellectrical engineer of 42 years in the power industry. Also if the internet and/or wifi is lost, the unit cannot perform its cloud based functions. I need a unit that is not dependent on the cloud. I need it to cool whether internet/wifi is present or not. It needs to continue cooling with/without internet and/or wifi. purely on its local memory.

For a portable ac. I am impressed that it actually cools my whole house. And with the summer we have it’s been a great work horse woukd buy again. Also love that I can turn it in while I am at work so the house is cool by the time I get home

Unit works but not sure its 14000 btu. Need to becareful of the drains. It will put out alot of water. It over flowed the little bucket the drain hose was in. Had to finally put in condensate pump so it wouldn't over flow.

did not cool a 200 sq ft room to 61 degrees for over 8hrs. there was no humidity out. did not work they way it was supposed to. sent it back.

This unit cools my 16'x 12' living room nicely, (85° outside 72-74° inside). Only issue is the tank fills quick on this one, but it is great at cooling and removing humidity. I keep a jug near it for quick emptying of water tank. (Edit review 06-13-24), I just bought a condensation pump ($67), to hook up to the drain, I simply ran the hose out the same window as the exhaust hose. I no longer have to empty the tank manually.
