This yoga rug has positives and negatives. It is only 5mm thick on the edge; in the middle it is thin, maybe 1 or 2 mm thick. Because of this I still need to place a yoga mat underneath it to have any cushion. It is also a good two inches thinner than my yoga mats.It is nice to practice yoga on the cotton rug though. It feels nice.

Just received as gift and truly love it! Nice heaviness to the blanket but will be easy to roll up or fold to take to class. The quality and design is beautiful!
