I couldn't decide if I should buy a plastic set of unicorn horn and ears or try to make my own. I actually did both. I ended up making them with this set, out of white fondant and then painted them with edible gold paint/luster dust. They looked so amazing! We got so many compliments on the cake. I am so happy I bought this item! It takes a little time to figure out how to get the fondant into the molds and make it work. To make the eyelashes I added black food coloring to the fondant and kneaded it. I then put very small bits into the eyelash mold and gently pressed it in there. I laid them on parchment paper to dry. It took me a couple of tries but I got everything to look pretty darn good in my opinion! Be patient. It takes a little practice and smoothing the fondant to get rid of the seams from the mold. The plastic set I bought is still sitting in the package, unused. I think I will give it away seeing I love this mold set!

I was using this for a first birthday party. Lining the molds up isn’t the easiest, there usually ended up being some gaps in the sides. They won’t stay together on their own so I had to tape them together. The type of material made it so the tape didn’t always stick. Looking around at different products, all of them looked like it was going to have that same issue. I’m just glad I got this in plenty of time to go an alternative route.Ended up not using this since it would take such a long time to make for 20+ cupcakes. The big horn and ears are too big for a cupcake But could have probably just filled the horn about half way and used that. I was going to make a smash cake using the horn and ears but after doing a test run, the horn and ears would have to go on a mini cake, wasn’t proportional to use for a small cake. The design was cute, was just hoping it would be bigger for the cake

Wish the horn mold was larger, but it worked for two cakes I made recently. Nice item.

Much smaller than expected, more sized for cupcakes than an actual cake.

Slightly harder to use than anticipated and the ears are smaller than what we wanted as well. Its holding up well to multiple uses though.

Super easy to use! Made an adorable cake.

The horn was just a little too short but nobody noticed and the cake was a huge hit with the birthday girl and her guests.
