Causes break out to certain skin types

My skin type is normal - combi. So I read that it suits my skin type and ordered it. It feels just like butter and blends into skin and feels like nothing after a while and it was good for initial days.But after that my skin started breaking out , when I stopped using it it was healing. But due to extra sunny days I needed to put on spf and it broke my skin out again. Please do your research before buying.
