I used this to paint the white chocolate drip on a cake pink and it worked really well!It was super easy to apply with a paintbrush and it dried in no time - was much easier than using dry lustre dust which is much less precise.

This looks more like a nail varnish when you first look at it, but it works really well and makes it so much easier to apply as it doesn’t go everywhere and gives a shiny look rather than small pieces of sparkle.The set had some nIce metallic colours and there was something for everyone. Reasonably priced as well at £1.50 a bottle.Hope this helps…..

These edible glitter paints are a great way to add some sparkle to desserts.They provide a nice decorative shimmer without changing the flavour of your food.I like the fact that a brush is included for better precision. I also like that they have a very long shelf life so they should last for a good while.The pigment is good, and a little bit does go a long way. Overall, I like this edible glitter paints.

I like the general idea of this, as it's great to be able to add a little shimmer quickly. It stands up well against most competing products, and the addition of a brush in the lid makes it easier to use than some of the narrow-mouthed bottles where the paint tends to get stuck in the bottom of the bottle. I wouldn't use the brush for most projects, as I prefer a finer brush, but it's good for getting small amounts out that I can then transfer onto my preferred brush.It's very middle of the road in terms of how it goes on. You have to work in very thin layers and let them dry fully between coats. The taste is no more noticeable than anything else on the market, and because it doesn't have a lacquer base, you can wash your brushes in water afterwards.

We used these to decorate a birthday cake last week and they were easy to use and a strong vibrant colour.

Auch wenn ich ein bisschen früh dran bin, ich habe mir die Farben fürs Lebkuchenhäusle backen kurz vor Weihnachten bestellt. Alle sechs Farben habe ich aber bereits auf einem Reststück vom letzten Jahr ausprobieren können und zusätzlich als Geschmackstest auf einem Stück Apfel.Beides hat super funktioniert. Pinsel sind im kleinen Sechserpack schon direkt in die Flasche integriert und funktionieren auch bestens. Die Farben matten nach dem Trocknen nach, was ich total schick finde. Der Apfelgeschmack wurde nicht überdeckt oder verfälscht. Ich bin zufrieden, würde mir aber etwas größere Flaschen wünschen...die gehen zu schnell zu neige und ich will doch noch soviel probieren...

Wenn die Flüssigkeit klar oder sehr hell ist, kommt der Effekt gut zum Tragen. Ist es aber eh schon dunkler oder kräftig, dann kommt es nicht mehr durch, wegen der anderen Festkörper, Fruchtfleisch oder ähnliches.Ansonsten macht es Spaß, damit Getränke einzufärben...Ich selbst hab es auch für Schlagsahne oder Buttercreme genutzt oder einfach nur Glitzer zum Schluß drüber.

Weil dieses Glitzerpulver schon in einer Flüssigkeit gelöst ist, kann man es gut dosieren und verarbeiten. Man muss es vorher nur gut schütteln.Ein paar Tropfen in einen Drink ergeben einen tollen Effekt.Auch für Gebäck ist es toll, weil man damit etwas bemalen und auch beschriften kann.Dazu benötigt man aber zusätzlich einen Pinsel, der hier nur bei dem 6er Set dabei zu sein scheint.Ich finde diese metallisch glitzernde Lebensmittelfarbe toll, auch weil laut Angaben keine bedenklichen Stoffe enthalten sind.

Leider ist das Glitzer im fertigen Zustand nicht so ebenmäßig und schimmernd wie auf den Produktfotos. Das ist gerade bei dem Preis von 10€ für die kleine Flasche nicht gut. Ich würde es nicht nachkaufen.

Der Metalleffekt ist wirklich klasse.Mit dem essbaren Glitzer lassen sich Gebäckstücke aller Art sehr einfach verzieren und optisch machen sie dadurch richtig was her.Man sollte es aus meiner Sicht aber nicht übertreiben und einen kompletten Kuchen damit überziehen.Geschmacklich ist er neutral und verändert den Geschmack des Gebäck nicht.
