Just received the Silverware Set. Initial thoughts – the hammered finish is a cool detail. It's got a good weight to it, and the mirror cutlery is quite elegant. Haven't tested the dishwasher claim yet, but the silverware is good so far.

excellent quality silverware set and not too heavy. the forks and spoons have a nice size difference and are comfortable to hold. Easy to wash despite the pitting in the handles, dishwasher safe and we have ran ours through our dishwasher a dozen times with no peeling or loss of goldness. steak knives are sharp and full tang serated blades.

This silverware set has a "hammered" texture and black color scheme that's pretty unique. The texture reminds me more of snakeskin than a ballpeen hammer look, but it definitely makes the utensil feel more grippy in the hand. They seem lightweight but strong, and the black finish has held up pretty well in the 2 months of use by my family with young kids. One of the table spoons arrive all scratched up right out of the box though, so it seems there's an opportunity for better quality control.

We have been using a premium brand of stainless steel flatware, but over the years pieces have gone missing, so I decided to give this set a try. I got in the hammered version. Although I like the hammered look, it took a bit to get used to the texture in my hand compared to our previous smooth, matt stainless. The set includes 8 place settings with Knife, Steak knife, fork, salad fork, teaspoon and tablespoon. Each piece feels substantial in my hand with a good weight and sturdiness. I especially liked the look and feel of the matt black steak knives. I put all the pieces through the dishwasher and they came out gleaming with no rust spots. The price is a good value for the quality of these utensils. Overall this is an excellent set of stainless steel flatware.

This silverware set has everything we need, and it has enough for parties. I like that it even includes steak knives. The quality is great. The hammered detail is crisp and makes them look classy. Everything is full-size, not tiny like some other sets I have seen. The large spoons and forks are large enough that I sometimes use them for serving, and just use one spoon and fork for eating. Each piece comes in its own little plastic bag to keep them from getting scratched. They are all nice and shiny. They have a good thickness and weight - not cheap and thin at all.

I had planned to get a matte finish set not a mirror finish, but when I saw this set, I just liked the presentation. I will be testing to see if the claim that these are dishwasher safe is true as many of the gold sets I looked at were not. The all black steak knives were a nice bonus and the contrasting color added to the appeal for me. Most of my dinnerware is bright white or a variety of shades of blue and I think this set will compliment those colors. I will try to come back and update my review after some use and a few cycles thru the dishwasher.

The hammered design is perfect as it matches my plate charger. It includes steak knives that make cutting rotisserie chicken so easy and comfortable to hold. The silverware set is great for any occasion because it looks presentable. It seems durable, but I found out that one of the spoons has a factory defect. If I did not notice, I could have hurt my lips using it. This silverware set is a little bit heavy for everyday use, but I'm glad that it is dishwasher safe, so at least I don't have to wash them manually.

I've owned many flatware sets over the years. Some very expensive and some not so expensive. One of the sets I still own (but no longer have a complete set of) cost the same as this entire set for just one place setting. And I'll be honest, I like this one more. Its fresh, modern and great quality. Each piece has a great weight without being so heavy it is uncomfortable to hold.The spoons are larger than I'm used to but I really like them. The long handles means this set is great for men and women. I didn't realize this came with steak knives as well so that was a nice surprise. These steak knives are fantastic and very very sharp.I wish I had ordered this set in black as well to see the difference but the silver is very very pretty. I love it so much that I put it in my everyday flatware drawer. Love it.
