And don't forget your ear plugs. *by A***R on January 27, 2025* I thought I could get away without buying this wrench, but unfortunately in the end I needed it. I did take a wire brush to try to clean up the debris that built up around the top of the nut and the threads. And then I sprayed it with some penetrating oil and let it soak. I did get it to start turning, but then the whole shaft started turning. I sprayed it with a little bit more penetrating oil and then started working the nut back and forth and was finally able to get it off. I did use a brass hammer and it's not to completely destroy the wrench, and it worked well. And make sure you wear ear plugs!
