Crabtree & Evelyn Eau de Toilette, Summer Hill 1.7 oz

My best test for perfume is to put it on at bedtime and when I wake up hours later see if I can still smell the perfume. Yes you can. Another thing I do is to add a touch of water on the spot where I put the perfume. The water will reactivate the scent IF the oil ratio in the perfume is high. A good perfume has a high oil ratio. This is an earthy, spicy scent with under tones of powder. This is a lovely scent. I also got the body lotion and the shower gel.

This is my favorite fragrance of all time! I have had trouble getting this as it seems to sell out pretty fast. A light powdery essence, with a little spice and a touch of floral finish. This scent lifts my spirit!

The aroma is light but not too light. Just lovely. I spray it on often. Very nice floral scent.

Haven't worn this fragrance in about 20 years, but have always had and kept the body powder. Not made in USA like before? Fragrance smelled somewhat different...lighter than anticipated from fragrance years ago. And perhaps it's just been too long since last worn. I liked wearing the fragrance during the summer because it wasn't heavy and smelled fresh. I'll hold on to it.

Love the Summerhill scent - light floral scent. The perfect perfume!

I was hoping against hope that this product was similar to my favorite Nantucket Briar by Crabtree and Evelyn- but sadly it doesn't although the packaging is close. So disappointing why they discontinued the best perfume ever is beyond me. Nothing comes close. This perfume misses the mark. Smells like every other floral perfume, nothing unique like Nantucket Briar.

Have not been able to find this fragrance for years. Love it, glad it was available at a reasonable price.
