Well People Expressionist Brow Pencil, Taupe

Love this brow pencil! I was using the Kosas Nano Tip and loved how incredibly fine the pencil was, but it’s expensive and runs out fast. I ran out again and wouldn’t have been able to get a replacement in time, so I took a chance on the Well People pencil, which was a little over half the price—and it’s a keeper. The photo shows the pencil applied over my older brow tattoo, which has faded over time. I was able to fill in sparse areas and create a more balanced look without spending a lot of time on my brows. It’s not quite as fine as the Kosas, but it still does a great job filling in my brows and creating natural-looking strokes. The color matched well, it was easy to apply, and my brows looked polished without looking overly drawn on. I’ll definitely be repurchasing this one.

A nice fine point. Self sharpens. Draws nicely. Stays on skin well, harder to smudge than others. Pencil lasts for a long time. Taupe is light brown, very happy as it can be hard to find shades that are truly lighter than brown, to pair with lighter hair color. Formula is lightweight it does not cause skin itching or irritation.

I couldn’t find a color that perfectly matched but the product itself was great! I have very very dark brown eye brows but they’re not black. I ended up going with the darkest brown I could and it is ok. I was also impressed at how long it lasted. Good value for the money. Also, it applies nicely, giving a natural look.

Love this product but it doesn’t last long in terms of use. I got it the beginning of March and I’m already out. Disappointed with how quickly it runs out for the price.

Update: I'm sad to say that I did not originally notice that you get a much smaller amount of this product compared to others. I ran out in about a month and a half. I originally got this eyeliner on sale for $8 but it's now back to its regular price of $15. As much as I like the product, I can't justify that cost for roughly one third of what I would get from other products, so I've opted not to repurchase and changed my score from a 5 to a 3. Original Review: I'll admit, I didn't expect much from this product for whatever reason. But I needed a new eyebrow pencil, and I wanted a clean option (this rates well on Yuka and EWG). Even though I have medium brown hair, many brown pencils don't look quite right on me. Sometimes I will even choose taupe to make sure it's not too dark, but I went with Neutral Brown on this one because their taupe looked reddish. I'm thrilled with the results of this product. Upon taking it out of the box, I was concerned with how thin it was, but it actually ended up being perfect in helping me create the look I wanted without having to go heavy handed. It also wears well for me throughout the day. the cost on Amazon was almost half what I could get at Target, so it was a no brainer for me to set this up on subscribe and save going forward. I like this even better than ABH, which is a holy grail for many, myself included for many years. If you are on the fence, I'd say give it a try!

Well People brow pencil is THE best brow pencil on the market IMO. It’s a very fine point for precise pencilling of your brows but this company gets extra kudos from me because of the safety and purity of its ingredients. Meaning: it does not contain any harmful stuff. You’d be surprised to look up the ingredient list on high end makeup and see what’s really in it.
