First of all, you need to keep in mind that plant based protein powders aren't going to completely disappear into a fluid, ever. The texture of non plant based protein powders will always be superior because, science. And everyone has different boxes that need to be checked regarding what they're looking for in a protein powder. With that said, this is the best plant based protein powder I've found so far. Hands down. I needed something gluten/dairy free and wanted something sweetened with monk fruit, relatively low in calories compared to the protein content, and decent taste/texture. I don't drink protein shakes for the purpose of savoring every sip like a gourmet hot chocolate so I don't really need it to blow my mind in taste but it has to be pleasant without any funky aftertaste. This checks all those boxes for me. I typically just blend it in my ninja with some unsweetened vanilla almond milk and have found the texture to be surprisingly smooth. And adding a bit more almond milk than the recommended amount tends to eliminate any noticable gritty texture. Both chocolate and vanilla flavors are pleasant all by themselves. They're actually pretty mild. Nothing overpowering or offensive. The chocolate reminds me of a chocolate malt milkshake if you've ever had one. Not super chocolatey but still tasty. I add a few shakes of cinnamon to the vanilla and some dark chocolate cocoa powder to the chocolate. I find the cinnamon brings out the vanilla flavor a lot more and the dark chocolate cocoa powder gives me that rich chocolatey taste I crave sometimes. And with only 110 calories and 21g protein per scoop, I can do two scoops with twice the almond milk and be satisfied for half the day on less than a snickers bars worth of calories. I even blend shakes up the night before so I can take them to work the next day and the texture is just as pleasant as it is freshly blended. I do like that it's organic as well, though that's not a requirement for me. Overall, I'm extremely happy with this powder and have been buying it for over a year now. I buy one of each flavor and reorder when they both run out because I like them both equally. If you have any protein powder preferences or requirements similar to mine, then I encourage you to give this a try.

This is BY FAR the best tasting protein powder I've ever had. It's very smooth, not gritty, great taste, it blends and dissolves very easily, and goes down very easily. It smells really good, it dissolved on my tongue, when I dipped my finger into the container, and tried a small amount. I was very excited to give it a try, and did so immediately after it arrived. I bought this protein powder, because I had been looking for one without stevia or erythritol, as I don't like the aftertaste they give, and erythritol usually upsets my stomach, and causes me to have GI symptoms. I'm so glad I came across this protein powder! I had been contemplating going with an unflavored protein powder, because I couldn't find any flavored ones that didn't contain stevia or erythritol. After reading the ingredients, nutritional information, and reviews on the Organic Nutiva Plant Protein Superfood smoothie, I decided to give it a try. It really is the BEST tasting, smoothest protein powder I've ever come across. It's also not half full, like most other protein powders. I like that they use a smaller container, which also uses less plastic. It's much easier to fit into the cupboard, and not have to leave it out or find another place to put it. I think it will also work really well for making things like protein pancakes, and adding it to oats, yogurt, etc. I am very pleased with this purchase!❤

I haven't tried other plant based protein powders so I can't compare to others, however for this one I believe it is a great product. I don't like to consume dairy as It makes my skin bleh. and other protein powders are sweetened with artificial sugars or stevia which upset my stomach and make me bloated for days. I have not experienced any skin or digestive issues with this one. I use it to blend in smoothies in a blender so far so good. It has a slight chalky taste, sometimes a little more than others. it depends on how much I use and what kind of fruits I'm putting in. but honestly, I will take that up over bad skin and bloating any day. I've only tried the vanilla and it has a good amount of flavor, not too strong, not too little. and if I let the smoothie sit for a couple mins the chalkiness is pretty much gone. not sure why? anyways Overall great product! def will buy again.

I did extensive research on several companies regarding their ethics as well as the quality of their products. These are my top concerns rather than taste and texture. Many companies I had found had lawsuits over their products containing lead and other metals but this company here I did not find that. Huge surprise for me as well as a relief. They do what's called Regenerative Agriculture which restores the degraded soils biodiversity naturally without using harmful fertilizer and pesticides.So now that we established this is an all around great company let's get on with the product itself. I was pleased with the size of the scooper because it was double the size of what I usually use on other protein powders. This is a good thing because I feel it is a better way to get nutrients instead of in a smaller more compact amount. I got the vanilla which did have a great vanilla taste. I use almond or coconut milk which compliments the taste and texture nicely. Of course like any other plant protein powder it is a little gritty but its nothing that bothers me personally. I am very happy and pleased to have found this company!
