Not that warm of a white.
I bought two of these 13W Bulbs because of the brightness of the bulb and the "Warm White" written on the packaging. But it's not truly warm. The light works fine, but it's a bit "cool" colored. At it's brightest, it's not bad and casts a bright white light, but when dimmed, it casts a kind of ghoulish cold glow. I prefer the warm yellow-orange color of an incandescent through the entire dimming range, and was hoping this could replace it. So, meh, it's functional, but it's not a truly warm or inviting light. If you're good with things looking miserable and cold, this light's for you.A post review edit, the seller emailed me and offered to replace the bulbs with lower wattage bulbs to try and make me happy, but I'm really into having a bright bulb that can be dimmed to whatever brightness I want from a super bright reading light, to a dim warm glow, so a less bright bulb replacement wouldn't really cut it for me. I think I'm just going to keep these and use them in the laundry room, garage, or kitchen where I want a bright on/off utility light, and don't really care about the dimming aspect or a warm color. But kudos to the seller for getting back to me to try and make things right.

REVIEW UPDATE: Bright and good color, but performs poorly with conventional dimmers
Our original review follows: PROS: "Color" of the light is good - feels like incandescent light. Brightness is very good. Two installed in place of two 75W incandescent bulbs delivered greater light intensity. CONS: They performed very poorly in conjunction with our dimmer. The information I read, and the bulb package states, they are compatible with convention dimmers. Our experience is different. We had to turn the dimmer to nearly full on before the lamps illuminated. Once on, dimming was not at all smooth and the range was dismal. Actually, our dimmer acted more like a rotary ON/OFF switch with these installed. COMMENT: We have a couple of Philips dimmer compatible LED bulbs, and although more expensive, they work well with our conventional dimmers. The Philips LED bulbs we bought are a "colder" white light more like fluorescent tubes - but I may have chosen the wrong color temperature bulb so I will look more closely when I order our next batch of Philips LED bulbs.UPDATE: Lea in their customer service reached out to us after we posted our original review and explained they were making improvements to the design of the 13W BrightBulb. She asked if we would wait for the shipment of new bulbs and they would send replacements for us to try. We waited and true to her word new bulbs arrived. They are better. The "temperature" of light emitted by both the original and replacement bulbs feels more like incandescent lamps and not that harsh cold white like some. The replacement bulbs work better and more smoothly with our dimmer, more on par with the Philips bulb I referenced in the original review. It has been my experience with all the different LED bulbs we have tried that there remain some issues and engineering work left to be accomplished before they work perfectly with conventional dimmers - but the new BrightBulbs Lea sent us are better. As such I have upgraded our rating to four (4) stars.

Bight Light for all of 8 months?
I bought this bulb to go in our outside porch light (which is motion activated). I had a CFL outside but the cold air must have got to it because when you turned on the light the light would barley glow. I read that LED lights can withstand the cold so I went on the hunt of a light. I found this one and thought that this was perfect and that maybe it would give off more light that may CFL (when it actually turned on all the way). Got the package, put the light bulb in, waited for it to get dark and.........ITS BRIGHT! Lit up my backyard to the point I didn't have to take a flashlight out with me when I took the dog out! Defiantly going to buy another for my front light!UPDATE: I bought this bulb in late October and a few days ago I took the dog out and noticed the light wasn't coming on?! I have had this bulb for approximately 8 months and it is no longer bright to even light the side of the house let alone the backyard (like it had when I bought it). It is so dim it can not be seen from outside unless you are right under it looking straight up at it (as it barley glows and flickers). I bought this light because it was so bright and LED lights are said to hold up during the cold temps and the box and ad says "lifetime guarantee" but I have still not figured out how to return or replace it for free?? LED lights are supposed to last a lifetime not 8 months? For a $13 light... I don't know if it's worth it? I'll be looking for another brand of LED light.

Dull Yellow Light
These bulbs are warm light. At the time I purchased them I didn't understand the real difference in LED color choices--not the seller's fault. They are not bright at all. But in any event they are nowhere near the equivalent of a 100 watt bulb but much more like 60 watt. They are hot not cool though. Not what I wanted at all. You get what you pay for and I should have known these were too cheap to begin with. All of that said, they fit my lamps. I'll save them for emergencies but I can't use them daily to read by.

I'll probably find a good use for it
Nearly as bright and similar color as a standard 100W, A19 bulb. Light distribution is only a little more than 180°, so it may not work in all applications. For a base down table lamp, all the light will be aimed at the ceiling, for a base up sconce or pendant, very little light will reach the ceiling. I'll probably find a good use for it, but already replaced it with a Cree in my vanity light application.
