Lightweight, large, deck box.
I think this is great! I am able to store my chair pillows for 6 chairs with room to spare. Over the summer I have not seen bugs or water get in. I’ve had these types of deck boxes in the past and this one is on the flimsier side. The plastic lid is bendy when opening or closing it but construction snaps together really well and it is not too heavy which is nice. We have been sitting on it over the summer too and it feels sturdy. The hinges are soft open and close. It is a decent budget purpose but I would not consider it “heavy duty”. I plan on getting a matching smaller one for pool items!

Good size, sturdy, looks great, EASY TO ASSEMBLE
We need a storage box for our pool furniture covers...so far, we've been folding them up, and then what? Stuff them behind the furniture, take them inside? Not very satisfying. So, ordered this box, but noticed that a number of buyers complained about the instructions, and had trouble with assembly. My sympathy to those who are intimidated by today's "not so great instructions," and lack of hand holding. The instructions are OK, but you have to stare at them for a while to get the clues. Look, there are six pieces--4 sides, a bottom, and a top. They snap together, and the instructions clearly state "don't put the wrong pieces together because you can not reverse the process. Oh oh. So, here is what you do. Got a rubber mallet? Get it, and a screw driver. If you don't have a rubber mallet, go buy one. No house should be without one, but if you're anxious to put it together, a hammer and small block of wood, or an old shoe will work. Find the piece they show as the bottom (it is not, it is one of the sides, but step one is to put 3 sides together, and one is laid flat for ease of assembly) based on the large letters and arrow. Now find the two sides what also have the molded form that will be where you would lift it up with you left and right hand (these are the left and right side of the box--hand helds will be close to the top edge--helps with orientation in the instructions. An arrow and a label would have been nice). Orient them with the arrows and note that they are the same shape, and that their molded inserts are going to fit in the slots. Take your time. Check the pictures in the instruction book. Check again. All OK? Position them one at a time, and with light strokes tap the pieces together with whatever your using as a hammer (a baseball bat will also work). Your confidence is now soaring!! Now add the fourth side. Easy. Now, only two panels left. The bottom and the top. You now have a cube that is open on both ends. The inside of the bottom (D) is more decorative, the outside is not, but the corner legs are where they are supposed to be. Ah! Tap it into place. Now, to the top. You insert the metal inserts and screw them into place (finally, the screwdriver) if you intend to lock the box. If not, you don't need them. The lid snaps into place where the snaps serve to form the hinges. Altogether, taking your time to feel confident that the two pieces you're about to snap together are indeed the correct ones, about 15 minutes. If you got a job putting this box together, after 2 or 3 of them, you'd have it down to less than 5 minutes. This is easy. Just take your time. The box is great.

So far, so good!
I am glad I bought this for my covered porch to store cushions, gardening things, etc. it’s very roomy. Not too hard for two people to assemble. Seems waterproof— it did get some rain on it at times and did not leak. I also like the slow motion closing feature. It does have a latch for a padlock, which I don’t use. Not sure that it would be terribly effective. It doesn’t seem as strong as I thought but it has been in use for several months and I have no complaints. I would not use it for seating, though. Don’t know how it will handle freezing temps this winter. Will update next spring!

Porch delivery/ package box for the win
I bought this to use as a place for deliveries or packages to be placed, as my porch is highly visible to passerby’s. It works perfectly as a way to store packages out of sight and out of mind until I can retrieve the package. It is light weight, which is okay for me bc I have it on the porch where wind will not blow it. If you both this and put it in a windy location, I would recommend weighing it down or even drilling the bottom into something to anchor it. This isn’t a box for security, as it is super light and easy to assemble. I do not think it would take a criminal long to tear apart if they were determined. There is a place to put a small keyed lock. Which would be ideal to keep kids out, and make it more difficult to break into the box and steal contents. It keeps most of the light rain out, I would not call it waterproof from a direct downpour. Where I have it, it is Pete Ted from the worst of storms, and so far has proven a good way to keep packages dry and out of the wind. Most delivery people see the box and where I used a sharper to write “packages” on the top and use the box. A few ignore the box, this is not the boxes fault. The primary reason for the box was to hide my packages, I had a package waiting on my porch for me to retrieve. This box does exactly that, and bonus offers more protection from packages blowing away in wind or damaged by weather. I would buy it again. The size is good. Not too big and not too small. It can hold the majority of my packages with plenty of room to spare. It is as described in measurements. I think it is a fair price and value. It is hard but a tiny bit bendable plastic. I would not put anything heavy on or in this box for any significant length of time. I could see storing some camping gear, like flashlights and bug spray, or sports balls and nets in the box, or yard sprays or water hose kind of thing. I personally would not store tools, especially heavy tools or heavy items in or on the box. You do you boo. It keeps cats and other nighttime critters out so far, but it is not bug proof or dust proof. It keeps some dust and some bugs out is best I can say.

Nice
Easy to assemble and has held up well in the elements. Good value

Great for what I bought it for and reasonably priced.
It’s a little tricky to assemble alone. It would have been easier and faster to have had a second person to help putting this together. Once assembled, it’s pretty sturdy. I’m 150 lbs, and it did hold up as I tried to use it as a seat. But, I wouldn’t actually use it as one, and definitely wouldn’t use it as a seat after it being in the sun for a year or two. Also, if I were heavier, I don’t believe it would hold up. As far as what I bought it for? It’s excellent! It’s well made and perfect for daily parcel deliveries from USPS, UPS, DHL, FEDEX and others. I have two small 2”x4” bricks inside of it, to prevent it from flying off in high winds. (Empty, I’s heavier than a 33 gallon, plastic trash can, but I live in an occasionally windy area, and those things, do end up down the road or in the neighbors yard) It’s placed on the side of my home, and closest to where it’s convenient for deliveries to be made. It’s also a place that’s slightly open to the elements. I work for a delivery service, and more and more of my customers have bought similar outdoor storage containers for this purpose. Whenever I have concerned customers that ask for advice for parcel and package deliveries and they don’t have an area where I can secure their delivery, I recommend these types of containers as an option. Pros; 1. It’s waterproof. So it’ll keep packages and parcels off the ground and out of the rain. 2. It keeps deliveries out of direct sunlight. 3. It prevents most pets, animals and critters from your deliveries. 4. It provides a semi-secure place for deliveries. (you could instruct and provide an unlocked padlock in/on the container to be locked after delivery, but it would prevent further deliveries from other carriers for the day. I have had unlocked padlocks, somewhat securing these containers to be left unlocked after deliveries. At a casual glance from the street, it looks like it’s locked) 5. It provides a consistent and convenient delivery location for you and delivery services for ALL deliveries (as a delivery driver, we appreciate these small things for ourselves and our occasional replacements) And most of all…. 6. It prevents porch pirates, nosey neighbors and pedestrians, from having direct line of sight, of any deliveries that you’ve had that day. Cons; 1. If you can keep it out of direct sunlight, I can’t think of any.

You get what you pay for
I've had this for a year now with zero complaints. Honestly, I didn’t expect it to last—it felt flimsy and lightweight at first. But it still looks as good as the day I put it out. No fading, no warping, no leaks, and no water has gotten inside. It hasn’t shifted or moved, probably because I keep stuff in it. If you're using it as a delivery box (which it’s great for), you might want to weigh it down when it’s empty. Assembly was easy—it snaps together. A couple of the snaps were stubborn, and I bent a piece once from being impatient, but it held up fine. For the price, I definitely recommend it. Just keep in mind: it’s not sturdy enough to sit on, stack heavy stuff on, or use as a step. That will likely damage or break it.

100 Gallon Deck Box
Would I purchase this again? Probably not. Instructions are pretty easy to follow but took 3 people to put this together at times. Long side sections are flexible making it difficult to keep straight to snap into place. A note on instructions states that once snapped into place it cannot be undone. So, the big question to ask would be how it could be returned? Other reviews do reflect on the ease of putting together and I can see that would be the case for a smaller version but not the larger ones. The thickness of the panels is evidenced by the flexing of the approx 4 ft long side and lid panels as they were being put together. They are a single preformed textured thickness. Waterproofness is unknown at this time Ours is being placed under cover so it is not a major concern. But there are small areas where it does not appear watertight. Top corners of case do not fit tight and is a manufacturing defect as it came this way. Other areas with small gaps are at corners where snapped together. Storage space in the 100 gallon unit is very good. It was purchased to hold a small leaf blower, small weed eater and small chain saw along with cushions for 2 two seater settees. It holds all of this very well. Color is grayish-white with a black top as described. Overall appearance is good. Sturdiness of the box is helped by the metal bars that are affixed to each long side of the box and the length of the lid. Locking mechanism on the lid will not hold up well to a forced entry as each of the two pieces are secured by metal pieces screwed into the plastic of the lid and box. Opening of lid also is affected by the flexibility of the material. Best to open from center as lid flexes if opened from a corner which then can affect the two locking pieces when closed. The metal hinge pieces do a good job of assisting in opening, holding the lid open and then closing the lid. This deck box should serve our purpose as it is placed under cover. I am glad that I purchased this on sale rather than full price.
