FreeDiver Sapphire Crystal Diver Watch Japanese Automatic Dive Watch 200m Water Resistant Diving Watch for Men

I'm a sucker for Diver's watches, long time ago I was a SCUBA diver.I just love all the different colour combinations available now on these watches.This yellow face watch now completes (I hope) my selection of divers watches.I have Green, Red, Black, White and Blue faces with various gold/silver bracelet and case combinations.They are all pretty much the same but for the colour, most automatic a couple of Quartz.As I already said I don't dive any more but the rating on this watch at 200M should make it suitable for most recreational divers, not sure about technical diving, that was before my time.Not bought this brand before but it uses the same Seiko auto mechanism of another brand I like that starts with "I"My very 1st diver's watch was an Omega Seamaster 300 and these watches for an awful lot less money are IMO just as good.I've delayed this review to see how well it keeps time, as good as you can expect for an automatic watch.The luminosity on the dial is pretty good too, lasts much longer than I would have expected.The Omega had excellent luminosity but for a watch of that time period (1969) it was probably radio active!!The bracelet is quite generous, I had to remove a few links.Excellent watch, very pleased with it.

Really nice really good quality watch, it’s a bit small for me as I like Big watches like the Invicta Grand Diver. Good Seiko auto movement and mine (green face) keeps Very good time. It’s amazing that you can get this quality of watch for less than a hundred quid….I Totally recommend it.

I did a lot of research on this relatively new brand and all reports were really positive. I wanted a mechanical diver for ages as changing the battery in a quartz watch can compromise its waterproofing. Also I’m a classicist.This really is a beautiful watch in every detail, from design to weight to finish - not flashy, just a real classic the quality of which is that of a much more expensive watch.I used to go for a Swiss brand which I understand is now made in China, so thought I’d change when I went for an automatic. Ratio is a Singapore based company whose products are made in Japan, using 316L steel and with a Japanese movement (NH35 as in Seiko watches I believe). Anyway I love it, and wholeheartedly recommend it. Delivery from Singapore was very fast, and the presentation and packaging had huge attention to detail - there wasn’t a bit of the watch that was not protected.

40mm is too small but otherwise a great watch.
