This chocolate protein powder is honestly one of the best I’ve tried. The taste is rich and smooth, like real chocolate rather than a chalky protein drink or artificial flavor. It’s not overly sweet or heavy, so it’s easy to drink any time of day. The texture is super clean—no chalkiness and no weird aftertaste. It dissolves really well in both hot and cold liquids, and I haven’t had any issues with clumping. I also like that it feels light on digestion. No bloating or stomach discomfort, which I’ve experienced with other powders. The ingredient quality seems clean and simple, and the sugar content is low, which is a big plus for me. Overall, it’s versatile, easy to use, and actually enjoyable to drink. Definitely one I’ll keep buying.

Love this protein powder and love this company. All the ingredients are of the best quality and good for you. I've tried a lot of different chocolate protein powders and this one by far tastes the best...It's not chalky or grainy and easy on the stomach. It's tastes good in a shaker bottle with plain water but also is even better blended into a smoothie. (I've tried other flavors from this company as well - peanut butter, chocolate mint, strawberries and cream, and vanilla - and like them all. Can't go wrong with chocolate though!)

I have taken other protein powders that were grainy, didn't mix well, tasted too sugary but not this one! I am loving the ingredients, how easy it is on my stomach to digest, easy to mix (I use a handheld frother), how tasty it is too. I love chocolate so adding this waffles, pancakes, smoothies and this for hot chocolate gives me my chocolate fix with all the health benefits. Definitely worth the price!

"Just Ingredients" protein powders are really delicious and mix well in almond milk or other liquids of your choice. I really love the chocolate flavor now too. I have tried the strawberry and vanilla and wanted to have chocolate as well. Why drink only one flavor, when there are so many to enjoy? I find these digest well, make me feel like I've had a small meal and the protein is easy to drink once mixed in almond milk which I prefer for mixability. I think you will enjoy these protein powders as much as I do. They really are amazing! You do not have to add an additional sweetener, it is already in the mix! ~The Rebecca Review

My husband has become a creature of habit with this protein powder, and that’s saying something! Every morning he makes the same smoothie with the chocolate Just Ingredients protein powder, milk, a frozen banana, and some clean peanut butter. It’s become part of his routine, and he genuinely looks forward to it. The biggest thing he’s noticed is how well it keeps him full. Instead of reaching for a mid-morning snack, this smoothie easily holds him over until lunch. On the rare mornings he skips it, he can definitely tell the difference—he gets hungry much earlier and just doesn’t feel as satisfied. The chocolate flavor blends really well with the banana and peanut butter without tasting overly sweet or artificial. The ingredients are another reason we keep buying it. We appreciate knowing exactly what he’s putting in his body. This has officially earned a spot on our Subscribe & Save because we don’t want to run out. If it’s become a non-negotiable part of his morning, that’s a pretty good sign it’s worth keeping around!

A little pricey but very tasty protein. Few ingredients.

I am very pleasantly surprised by this protein powder. I’ve been trying to find a cleaner protein powder that doesn’t have weird ingredients. I got the chocolate, and it has such a smooth taste and texture, which is huge. I’ve tried other clean brands and the texture is like wet paper. It blends up nicely and has a very pleasant smell. Good amount of protein in a scoop as well, plus the benefit of fiber and no sugars. I will be purchasing again

Tastes great. I appreciate not having artificial sweeteners as I have a reaction to them. Price is quite high though.
