Garbage that doesn't load simple websites properly, do not buy
Update: I tripped on the cord and shattered the screen and frankly I'm glad it's dead. I fought with the graphics drivers, wifi drivers, and everything else and I'm just glad it's dead. Seems to have serious issues with the graphics card or processor. Upgraded the RAM to 64 GB and it still only loads small squares of screens especially when loading web browsers. Complete garbage, would return if I could but too late now. Will never order from them again.

Great laptop but dumber than a console even tho its more powerful
Great laptop. Fortunately I needed a computer all together but if it was strictly for gaming I would be livid going from Xbox to pc. You have to literally do research sometimes to find out a driver or application needs an update. It won't notify you for some driver updates and wont tell you. It took me 2 weeks to be able to play because it kept saying it needed to be plugged in when it was. Come to find out i needed an update. Xbox let's you know you need an update before you can play. Am I the weird one here? Why cant they code that in? This computer more powerful but way dumber than a console. Its insane. Not the manufactures fault that's why I still gave a 5 stat this is just stupid.

Not worth the hassle
I purchased this computer with 12 month warranty. On the 13th month the charger port went bad and its soldered on the inside and not replaceable by local repair shops. I guess it needs so much heat to repair so it destroys the computer. I called Acer..they wanted $699 to ship and repair. This is crazy! I will never buy Acer again!

Great PC but...
Amazing PC. Runs pretty much any game on high/ultra if clocked. sounds like an actual jet engine but it does well. My only issue is the power supply I received with the PC is 135w, which is FAR below the requirement to properly run the PC, so after about 2-3 weeks of use, the charger gave out.

Horrible wi-fi, black screen, failed keyboard - less than 2 years! DON'T BUY
This is an absolute "DON'T BUY" laptop; I've had this less than 2 years!!! 1) Wi-fi - It always had POOR 2-bar wi-fi from the beginning, just 20' from the router. And NO, it's not the router cuz I had full bars in the same spot I used my prior laptop. 2) Wi-fi - From day 1, it even drops wi-fi connection completely, showing "No Internet" bars, spins wheels for about a minute, then eventually goes back to my 2-bar connection. 3) Slow browser load - From day 1, periodically, and after typing a search phrase & pressing Enter, web pages would take up to a minute to fully load By "fully load", I wean a web page would load in sections. probably what normally happens but my guess is it normally happens so fast we don't notice. Not this laptop though, nope, it means, that if I move my mouse around to different areas & try to scroll, just the "piece" that I am hovering over would be updated & scroll, but other areas remain unmoving and filled with "old" web page data, and NOT scroll! It's amazing to see AND extremely frustrating to sit there waiting and not being sure everything if is loaded properly... yet... or yet... or YET! 4) Display - Within 1 year... when I open the cover & start it, the screen doesn't display ANYTHING, total blank! UNLESS I pull the screen forward slightly... TA-DAAAHHH! Try seeing that for the first time! 5) Keyboard - Now, literally, every OTHER time that I start this Piece Of "youKnowWhat", the keyboard doesn't work; can't type the password!!! Oh sure, all I have to do is "Restart" it every other time I power up, but come on, every other time?!?!?! ----- PLEASE, believe me, you can't make this $#!& up! Back Story if interested? I HAD the perfect Alienware laptop for over 6 years, and it still screamed at lightning speed! Never a single problem, and it would have lasted years longer! But a cooling fan finally stopped, so I watched a DIY video, but I saw it required a complete disassembly to dig DOWN to the failed fan (Note to IDIOT Engineers: always make the most likely part to fail the hardest to replace, good thinking!!!) When I got to the part thar said you MUST disconnect every one of the dozens of tiny cables or you will fry the motherboard (Emphasis "you MUST disconnect every one"), I brought it to an "expert"... he missed one and fried my laptop. He gave me this "shiny, new, Nitro 17 laptop... free!!!), which is how I ended up with it. Yea, it's a cheap price... and a P.O.S.!!!! A real "DON'T BUY" value!
