It's worth buying even if you return it. Excellent camera for engine inspections.
The resolution is good. It comes with a bag so if you want a case then buy the one listed. The camera cord is stiff. You'll be able to bend it and slightly twist it. There is a LOT of cable coiled up so be prepared to uncoil and reposition it. Switching from front to side camera is easy just by holding a button. USB-C rechargable. Battery life seems appropriate, but I have not used the video camera recording option yet. Great value for the money and has lots of versatility for uses. Plumbing, Duramax engine inspection, checking building and walls or even colonoscopies. Well maybe not the last part. I bought this to find leaks on my truck. It's nice to have cameras in two directions. It is also nice to be able to turn the light off. I want to try this with a UV light and dye to see if it works in hidden locations. When you use the magnet attachment you can't see much beyond the magnet. Same with the hook. I'm sure they work well it would just be more convenient if I could see what I'm aiming for.

Pretty Good Quality Picture
I purchased this primarily to inspect household items such as A/C vents, duct works and drain lines and other hard to see areas where your eyesight can’t quite bend around the corners to see. Im sure it can be used in a variety of applications also. I filmed a short video clip to show the quality of the unit’s display. If you watched the video you could probably tell that I was taking a peek inside the dryer where the lint filter goes. And after seeing how much lint had accumulated there, I knew it was time to slide the dryer back and clean the dryer’s exhaust vent also. I’ve got a flexible tool with several attachments for that. I ran the camera up into the duct after I cleaned it and it looked good. I got a lot of lint out of it. But yeah, this is not bad for household use. And thanks to this camera I’ll be able to determine when the next cleaning is needed. I encourage everyone to take the time and clean the lint out of your dryer on a regular basis. It builds up quick and it can become a fire hazard. I’m impressed how quickly the unit powers up, and the clarity of the display is pretty good once the object your viewing gets in range of the camera and the camera can get it in focus. If you’re too close to an object with the camera, it’ll be too blurry ; and if you’re too far away with the camera from an object, the light won’t illuminate the object you’re attempting to view. So you gotta find that “goldilock” zone where the camera is not too close and the light is not too far, but where both the light and the camera is just the right distance away from the object so it’ll come into focus. Also, unless I lost it, I don’t think this came with the memory card to store photos on. I tried taking a photo with it and it said no card or something like that. But all in all, I think it’s a useful tool to add to the household to keep things checked out. Not a bad price either. I might even be able to take this at work and use it there….for a small nominal fee, of course.

It is an endoscope of very good value with a caveat
This endoscope is easy to use. The display is crisp and clear. I have no doubt it would be handy in many applications. As an auto mechanic in a previous life, this scope would have been invaluable for endoscoping engine cylinders and viewing other hard to see places. I bought it to use over short distances in our house's drain lines. The reason I am giving it four stars is that it is difficult to use in drain line much beyond about 3 feet because the cable bends, which usually leads to a view of the wall of the pipe, not the bore. Sometimes after several retries I can make it work. The end of the scope hangs up on the slightest provocation. For example, about 18" from the start point on an 1 1/2" ABS line, there was a 45-degree elbow. The scope kept getting hung on the first glue joint, before reaching the 45-degree turn. I had to pull and push several times for it to skip over the joing and make the turn. After it made the turn, the end turned to view the wall of the pipe, not the bore where I wanted to view a broken plumber's snake. Borescoping a 1 1/2 dry, but slightly corroded cast iron pipe had similar problems as the scope line kept hanging on surface irregularities on the inside of the pipe. Good product, good value, but limited use on drain lines, at least for me. Also, do not forget you have to charge the battery every 3 months or turn your borescope viewer into a paper weight.

Solid performing inspection camera
Was excited to receive my Depstech borescope. This is the first dual lens camera borescope I've had, and I've been impressed by the many features on the camera as well as the overall quality of the picture quality and the product as a whole The most obvious feature is that this scope has a high-quality integrated screen. Many other scopes use wifi to connect to a phone as the screen. Although many of those are lower priced (as you'd expect) and work capably, it's much more convenient having an integrated screen that doesn't require connection everytime the scope is used. The screen itself is high quality and very bright, and is nicely viewable from all angles Picture quality also is excellent. The camera shows great detail with high clarity and each lens has adjustable lights. (The lights have 4 different brightnesses; it would have been nice if there were more so that the brightness was a little more adjustable) The dual lens allow swapping from the main front camera to a side camera. The side camera has been nice at times to help orient where the scope is at, but so far I've been primarily reliant on the main front camera A few other notes from having used this scope for roughly a week: - Charging uses a standard USB-C charger rather than a proprietary cable (or older USB connection like micro USB). Even better, it charges just fine with my phone's ultra fast charger. Many cheaper electronics with USB-C will not charge with fast chargers - Micro SD card is included, which is great for using the scope out of the box. It's only 32 gigs, but with my videos I take less than a minute long, this will be more than enough space for a long time - Includes a plastic case. The case is fairly large and feels like it could have been made a little more compact, but is padded with foam, adding a nice layer of protection for the scope. I must say that this is much more convenient than having to find a random box to store the scope in in between jobs - The controls on the scope are very intuitive. Aside from a couple of buttons that are similarly designed (the camera swap and rotate buttons have similar icons), nothing really required me to look at the instruction manual to figure out. All the menus and options are right where they should be. There are enough buttons on the device that I don't have to navigate through a ton of obscure menus to cycle through the options, but not so much that using the device requires me to go through a slew of buttons

nice all-in-one endoscope
Last year I bought Depstech Dual Lens wifi endoscope (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08NJ8627V/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o07_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1), to trace down some of the issues I had, that was a pretty cheap option, and helped me a lot. I could not even imagen how usefull this kind of devices are, since that purchase I used it here and there to understand some of the engineering issues I had at home. that was not on a daily basis, so I did not keep the app installed on my iphone, it also always took a while to remember how it worked (built-in wifi spot etc), and at some point I got lazy and decvided it was a good time to upgrade to all-in-one endoscope. Another drawback was, that everything had been installed on my iphone, so if there were some workers around, I had to leave them my iphone so they could do the job.. Finally I ordered this DS550 model, at first I thouhg it would be a replacement, but turned out that I might be willing to keep both of them.. DS550 comes with relativele large box, I wish it would be smaller (see pics, comparing to my wifi endoscope box), and I wish I had an internal pocket (literally, when I opened the box, accessories in a tube fallen down on the floor, good I noticed that immediately). Screen is really of a good quality, but camera is noisy. For sure, you won't use it to take wedding photos, but it does its job pretty well (i.e. for what you usually need an endoscope - to find smth in a place, where neither you nor a smartphone can take a look yourself). My older Depstech Wifi has thinner and more flexible hose, while DP550 has still pretty flexible one, which can take its shape (about 30in long, you may see this on the picture next to yellow one). Additionally DS550 unit has a tourch and is easy to operate with one hand (also took a photo of this, so you can get some feeling). I also tried to make some photos with the unit, it is just a click and everything gets stored on an sd card), but since camera is moving, and once deep in a whole it is not as easy to manage, so sometimes it might be blurry, but overall when you fix issues, it gives you more than enough. To sum up, I am happy to keep both devices, - one is portative, with more flexible and longer hose, thinner, might be used where DS550 might not make its way; and if you have a small issue, just one off job, it might be better to go with this WiFi version. - DS550 on the other hand is an independent, easy to use unit, just turn it on and strat your investigation, its hose can keep a shape given, so it is easier to control where it goes; therfore if you see a need in such a device from time to time, a dedicated device might be a better choise.

Love it! Very solid endoscope with dual cameras and screen.
Love it! Dual camera works great! Screen is huge and resolution is just perfect! Love pretty powerfull LED lights that helps to see what is inside of walls/ceiliings. Cable is very flexible, but at the same time holds it's shape so I can see what I need very easily. It's battery based, and I was able to work for hours without recharging. Not sure how long it will last, but I never run out of battery so far.

Professional Endoscope That Anyone Can Use
There are so many uses for this endoscope, from looking at drains, for car engines, or even for looking into interior gun parts. My husband does gunsmithing as a hobby and is able to use the endoscope when cleaning guns (as seen in the pictures). We have used Depstech endoscopes in the past and have always had great luck with them. The screen on this has such a clear picture and the cable is long enough to reach pretty far with a light that aids in dark places. The monitor also has its on light on board in case you are in a dark spot and need to see where you are inserting the camera. Another plus is the microSD card that is included as well as the sturdy carrying case. I recently used it to find a ring I had dropped between my desk and file cabinet that I could not reach my hand on to get because the cabinet is so close to my desk. This would make a great gift for someone who tinkers with cars, plumbing, and many other uses. You will realize once you have it how many uses there are for it!! The files are easy to transfer to your computer if needed. You can take pictures and/or video for review. The battery lasts several hours and we still haven’t had to charge it after using it to try ironic and also because we needed it. The magnet and hook are an added bonus and sure to come in handy. (Will be out to use many times as I’m always drooling or losing things in areas that I can’t get to! It is also easy to charge and use. The display gives such a great picture with great quality, it’s impressive. I’m a gadget person and love having this endoscope in my collection!

Straconsigliato!

Very good piece of kit
Wasn't sure what to expect at this fairly low price, but the image quality is very good, with a lot of useful features. Used it to check a field drain - the two side facing cameras were a big help, very bright LEDs which are dimmable, and a great video and image capture feature to the included SD card. The fiber optic cable is the thickness of a pencil and not rigid enough (I knew that) to be pushed any distance, so I taped it to a drain rod and that worked fine for the 20ft of distance I needed. You will need a support of some kind for pretty much all jobs, but that will be the case for all of these hobby units, and that also prevents the cable from kinking, which you don't want to do. Only used it once, so far, but very impressed
