Best fryer ever, clean up is so easy!
My son is absolutely addicted to french fries, and since he's a picky eater and that's just about all he'll reliably eat I end up cooking them a few times a week at least. This fryer does a pretty great job on them and can cook two servings of fries in its basket, although more than that would probably be overcrowding and they wouldn't cook as well. It heats up reasonably quickly (far more quickly than a dutch oven on a stove top) and even when I add very cold fries it still either maintains its temperature or very quickly returns to temperature. However, by FAR the best feature of this fryer is how easy it is to clean up. You just turn the lever to "automatic oil filtration" and then walk away, and the oil is filtered and stored for you. The filtration is pretty good; I'll easily get a couple of weeks worth of regular frying out of a single batch of oil although it depends on what I fry, since some things get the oil a lot dirtier than others. Once it's drained, literally everything except the heating element can get wiped down and put in the dishwasher. This fryer could not possibly be any easier to clean up. There are only a few negative things about this fryer, none of which are really a big deal. The biggest complaint I have is that the timer isn't great. It works fine, but as far as I can tell you can't cancel it or change it once it's set, so if you're using it then hopefully you set the correct time the first time or you'll have to wait for it to go off before you can change it (if there's a way to do that then I haven't found it yet). Also, the magnetic plug does tend to fall out rather easily if it's jostled at all but that isn't necessarily a bad thing. As I mentioned, I wish that the overall temperature range was greater as it tops out at around 385 degrees, but that's still plenty hot for most things. The last negative is that the vent on the top cover is towards the back of the unit, so any condensation as it's cooking will come out closer to the walls. This means that if it's even slightly under any cabinets, then those cabinets are going to get saturated with steam so you really need to use this somewhere with nothing overhead. One thing to watch out for also is that the oil storage container's top comes off easily, so if you aren't careful when you're pouring it you could end up with the top falling off and spilling oil everywhere. Just hold it together with your hand as you're pouring and it'll be fine.

Good!
I chose this fryer over other brands mainly because the design and overall build quality look better and more refined. The style is clean, modern, and slightly fancy, and the fully stainless steel interior and basket give it a more premium feel compared to many similar fryers. The fryer also comes with an oil drain / oil filtering feature, but I personally did not use it. I had read some reviews mentioning possible oil leakage, so I chose not to use that function. Filtering the oil manually works just fine for me. I think if the manufacturer removes this feature in the future, it could help reduce cost and make the product more affordable — a win-win. Regarding temperature, the maximum setting is labeled as 385°F, but when measured with an external thermometer, the oil temperature reached around 365°F in actual use. That said, as shown in the photo, it still fries very well — my fried dough came out crispy and evenly cooked. After some consideration, I decided to keep the fryer because it meets my frying needs, and I genuinely like the design and perceived quality. I also purchased it during Black Friday, so the price was a great deal. Overall, a solid fryer with a nice balance of design, quality, and functionality for home use.

Impressive All-Clad Fryer: A Sturdy Upgrade from T-Fal
This All-Clad fryer is a game-changer in the kitchen, boasting exceptional craftsmanship and reaching a reliable 350 degrees effortlessly. Having previously owned a T-Fal Ultimate EZ-Clean fryer, I was struck by the stark contrast between the two. While they may look similar, the All-Clad exudes durability, with robust walls and secure handles that instill confidence, especially when transporting it filled with oil. In comparison, the T-Fal felt flimsy, with a thinner metal build and a struggling heating unit that could barely hit 290 degrees, leading to slow preheating and reheating times.Upon unboxing the All-Clad, I was immediately impressed by its superior build quality, a significant upgrade from the T-Fal. The stainless steel cooking bowl is top-notch, although the fry basket, made of chromed metal, requires delicate hand washing to prevent rusting – a lesson learned the hard way with the T-Fal basket. Cleaning the All-Clad is a breeze, although the bright chrome finish may retain oil smudges, easily remedied with a vinegar wipe-down for a shiny look. One standout feature is the All-Clad's heating element, a true superstar that effortlessly reaches 350 degrees and reheats rapidly during cooking sessions. In contrast, the T-Fal struggled to maintain high temperatures. While the plastic oil box is similar, the T-Fal box doesn't fit the All-Clad. Overall, the All-Clad fryer is a sturdy and efficient upgrade that has transformed my cooking experience for the better.

Good fryer, but….
This fryer works as many have reviewed it. The oil filtration and storage function is the biggest reason I purchased this, and it works well. Just wait for the oil to cool, switch the knob to filtration, and an hour later you have filtered oil in a neat storage container. The problem is pouring the oil back in the oil reservoir for your next fry. There is a screw off plug which you take out and then pour the oil back in. Unfortunately, the oil container has a large top that attaches to the container much like a Tupperware top. It comes off if you don’t hold it tight with your fingers as you lift the container to pour. I’ve had a couple of bad experiences with spilled oil as a result. It works, but is not a perfect design. Be careful! The only other caveat is the LCD number display. It is impossible to see in anything but perfect lighting conditions. It does beep when over, but still, it’s annoying for the price point. Bottom line is this is a good fryer, but flawed. Still recommend though. It’s easy to take apart and clean, and fry’s nicely.

Better than the T-Fal EZ-Clean fryer
This fryer is extremely well made and gets to 350 degrees with no problems. I owned a T-Fal Ultimate EZ-Clean fryer before this one. They look the same but they are so different. The T-Fal is so flimsy compared to this unit. The walls are a much thinner metal, no bottom to the main body and the heating unit never got the oil hotter than 290 degrees. Because of the low operating temperature, the preheat and reheat back to cooking temp took a while. The side handles felt cheap and flimsy when carrying the unit full of oil. After years of use the heating element could only heat the oil to around 220 degrees. The only replacement part available is the magnetic power cord. So, it was time to get a new one. I was interested in the All-Clad when I bought the first one but couldn’t find any difference in the reviews other than the price and they looked like the same thing. Right out of the box I was impressed with everything I saw. The built quality was so superior than the T-Fal. The body and handles are strong and secure. I have a real confidence carrying this full of oil. The cooking bowl and basket are basically the same. The bowl is stainless steel and the fry basket is a cheaper chromed metal that will rust in the dishwasher. That’s right my T-Fal basket rusted. I ruined my basket in the dishwasher. Don’t believe the dishwasher safe line. Hand wash for the maximum life. It really doesn’t take that long to clean this unit up. That’s another thing, after several washes the bright chrome finish will still have oil smudges and smears. My solution, after washing it with soap, was to wipe the unit down with full strength vinegar, rinse and dry. It cut off all the oil and made it shinny again. The heating element is a superstar compared to the T-Fal. It got to 350 degrees effortlessly and reheated amazingly fast back to 350 while cooking. The plastic oil box is basically the same, though the T-Fal box doesn’t fit in the All-Clad. Hold the oil box with both hands when you’re pouring the oil out of it. I hold it a little lower than half way, closer to the drain port, with my thumbs holding the top on. Yes, failure to do this will cause a massive cleanup. The lid broke free and oil spilled everywhere my first time. I did call T-Fal about the low cooking temp when I first got it. They weren’t much help. They said only the elements get to 350 not the oil. Yeah, I didn’t get it either. I used my Thermoworks Thermopen MK4 so I know my readings were good and I never got more than a 290 degree reading. I guess the heating element turns off when it hits 350. I don’t know. I learned to cook with it. I’m very happy with this purchase and wished I’d went with this All-Clad the first time.

What a GIGANTIC and complete mess!
This fryer is a mess and makes one too. The basket sits very shallow in the oil making it difficult to fry many items properly. The max fill line for the oil is not obvious and needs to be. At slightly under the max fill line…if you filter the oil into the bottom oil reservoir (which seems like it would be a handy feature) the oil leaks all over the place. The reservoir should be the same or bigger capacity to the max fill but that’s clearly not the case. If you enjoy cleaning up massive oil spills all over your counter and floor every time you filter the oil into the reservoir, this is the fryer for you. If you would rather NOT have a giant cleanup project every time you try to use its most compelling feature, the filter - I suggest you shop for another. What gigantic waste of my time and money buying this POS. I hope you don’t fall for the brand name as it’s totally just a license logo and does not indicate quality at all. Everything else seems to work ok, the timer counts down, the heating element gets hot to temp and the container seems to hold oil until you throw the switch (see above).

Get this one over the T-Fal
Way better then the T-Fal Ultimate EZ-Clean fryer as stated by other reviews. Worth the price. They both look the same but there's nothing interchangeable between the two. My T-Fal would never get to temp. If it was set at 350, the oil would only get to 305. Even set at max temp, it would only get to 323. This All-clad, no problem. Set at 360, the oil temp is 351. Also, when you drop food in, it recovers so much faster. The heating element is top notch. Tried it on some lumpia tonight, and it came out so much crisper and lighter. My guess is because it didn't have to set in the oil too long like the old one. Can't wait to try it on some fried chicken. Recommend.

Smart oil filtration idea, but some design quirks (and a temp mismatch on mine)
I wanted to love this All-Clad deep fryer because the oil filtration/storage concept is genuinely great, but I ran into a handful of practical issues in real use. It can make frying at home easier, yet the pouring/drain setup and a temperature inconsistency on my unit knocked it down for me. What I liked The oil filtration + storage concept is the standout feature — reusing oil is much less messy than the typical “strain it into a jar” routine. The overall unit feels solid and premium with stainless construction and a stable base. Temperature control is simple to set, and the locking lid/cool-touch areas make it feel safer than open-pot frying. A lot of components being dishwasher safe helps with cleanup. What could be better The lid/oil container design is a little sketchy when pouring. On mine, the lid basically just sits on the lower oil box, so when you pour oil out you need to hold it firmly and pour dead-center — otherwise it can shift and you can end up with oil where you don’t want it. The basket is shallow. If you fill oil to the max line, you may not fully submerge some foods. You can add more oil (there’s room), but then you have to remember you did that — because when you drain/filter, the lower reservoir can only hold up to what the “max” system is designed for. Temperature spec inconsistency: the written range says 300–375°F, but one of the product graphics shows 385°F max. My unit also seemed to top out around ~350°F, which affected how quickly it recovered between batches. The heating element has metal bars that sit against the inner oil vessel, and they can scratch the vessel during normal use/handling. When washing the oil vessel, there’s a drain mechanism on the bottom. It’s easy to forget it’s there, and the underside has parts you don’t want to grab carelessly — it’s a “pay attention while washing” design, not a smooth, simple pot. Overall the oil filtration system is a genuinely smart idea and the fryer feels well-built, but the lid/pouring design, shallow basket, and the temperature mismatch/heating behavior on my unit make this harder to recommend at this price unless you’re okay working around its quirks.
